  Démarrage jeudi prochain du 39ème PIF, Prix International d’accordéon (Fisarmonica) qui se tiendra du jeudi 18 au dimanche 21 septembre 2014, organisé par la municipalité de Castelfidardo et l’association Pro Loco, directeur artistique, Roberto Lucanero.Reportages quotidiens avec photos et vidéos à partir du 18 septembre à : 2014Concorso Le maire de Castelfidardo Mirco Soprani annonce qu’ont été reçues 158 inscriptions (solo, ensemble et orchestre) ce qui représente environ 350 concurrents de 26 pays et 3 continents. A quoi s’ajoutent les invités internationaux des concerts du soir et de l’après-midi, les 36 membres des jurys venus de 15 pays, avec Alfredo Santoloci, Directeur du Conservatoire Santa-Cecilia de Rome, pour président.. La Ville de Castelfidardo attend avec impatience d’accueillir la semaine prochaine les centaines de candidats du concours, les professeurs et passionnés, pour ce qui promet d’être un fantastique kaléidoscope de couleurs, langues et cultures, unies par la musique et l’amour de l’accordéon.  Il est rappelé aux professeurs et inscrits potentiels que les inscriptions pour la 67ème Coupe Mondiale seront closes le 22 septembre. Ne soyez pas en retard.Une 67ème Coupe Mondiale attractive et la 132ème Assemblée générale internationale des délégués de la CIA, à Salzbourg, Autriche, se profilent avec 9 catégories internationales de concours. La première Coupe Mondiale avait eu lieu en 1938. Le président de la CIA Raymond Bodell et Werner Weibert, Président de l’Harmonikaverband Österreichs - HVÖ) sont heureux d’accueillir les invités, compétiteurs et supporters à Salzbourg pour la Coupe Mondiale 2014, du 27 octobre au 1er novembre. Tous les accordéonistes sont invités à se produire avec le World Accordion Orchestra VIII de la CIA. Les chefs d’orchestre seront Jacob Noordzij, Werner Weibert et Joan Cochran Sommers. L’orchestre sera rejoint par une grande chorale pour le concert final. Nouveau record de vitesse pour Salomon Canelo, San Miguel - Mexiqueby Rob Howard |
 L’accordéoniste méxicain Salomon Canelo, qui joue de l’accordéon piano comme du diatonique, a récemment atteint un nouveau record, celui de l’accordéoniste le plus rapide du monde, en jouant du diatonique à 30 notes par seconde. Son commentaire : »discipline et travail sont le secret du succès ».Le précédent record était détenu depuis 2008 par l’ancien champion d’Irlande de diatonique, Liam O’Connor, qui avait joué ‘Tico Tico’ à 11.67 notes par second, ratifiées par le Guinness Book. |

Règlement et formulaire d’inscription en anglais sont disponible à : 2014Spoleto.pdfLes dates du 7éme festival Strumenti & Musica de Spoleto sont du 8 au 12 octobre dans la célèbre ville de culture de Spoleto et il est organisé par l’Italian Accordion Culture Association (IAC) qui avait accueilli la Coupe Mondiale 2013 à Spoleto. Les catégories du concours : A Accordéon Classique sans limite d’âge. B Accordéon Classique moins de 18 ans. C Accordéon “Virtuoso” (Variété) sans limite d’âge.. D Accordéon “Virtuoso” (Variété) moins de 18 ans.. E Concours international d’ensembles. Le directeur artistique de l’IAC Artistic, Mirco Patarini (photo en haut à gauche) annonce une série de concerts inmanquables dont celui des vainqueurs de ce 7éme concours, en solistes et ensembles.   The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending September 15th 2000 included a report of the steady growth in popularity of free bass amongst accordionists in China, especially at conservatories and in competitions. Since then, Chinese accordionists using free bass have increasingly made their mark in top level international competitions with many successes in concert and entertainment categories. Over 200 years ago, when it was suggested by his aides that France should consider colonization in China, Napoleon Bonaparte replied, “Let China sleep. When she awakes the world will tremble”. Perhaps the emperor foresaw the coming of the accordion! Free Bass Accordion Growing in China Contributed by Prof. Li Cong The popularity of free bass accordions is growing steadily in China. In a recent accordion Master Class (organized by the Tianjing Music Conservatory), over 40 students took part, most of whom had free bass accordions. At the August China International Accordion Festival Competition, all competitors in the Adult Class played free bass accordions, with many also in the younger age classes. Over the last few years, Professor Elsbeth Moser (Hanover College of Music, Germany) has visited China several times teaching free bass accordion and encouraging new playing ideas and music. Cao Xiao-Qing has assisted European accordionists to give successful lectures and master classes in China. The Tianjing Music Conservatory, which has built up a vast amount of teaching material and experience has over forty, free bass students. The conservatory believes that teachers will benefit from learning more about free bass techniques, so is currently organizing classes for young teachers and students. |

 Alexander Selianov (accordion) and Denis Chefanov (piano) perform in concert on Friday September 19th, 4pm, at the Salone degli Stemmi, City Hall, Castelfidardo. Alexander Selivanov was born in 1979 in Kazan; after a long training with professor Viatcheslav Semionov at the Music Academy of “Gnessins”, this extraordinary accordionist developed different musical repertoires, from the classical music arrangements to the Russian folk music and even contemporary music. He performs solo concerts and with orchestra, in Russia and in many other countries all over the world. Since 2003 he has been playing in duo “Una Sinistra” together with his partner Yulia Amerikova. In addition to his concert career, Selivanov is an accordion teacher at the music academy of “Gnessins” (Moscow), and he is also committed to the organization of professional events like international competitions, master classes and festivals. Winner of the Coupe Mondiale, Klingenthal competition, and of the International Award in Castelfidardo and of many other national and international competitions. Program: 1.W. Sergeeva Jasmine Denis Chefavon was born in the city of Tyumen (USSR) in1974. In 1992 he started his studies in the Concervatory of the state of Moscow, Tchaikovsky. After his studies, he started to teach and in 2007 he was granted the chair at the Thaikovsky Conservatory. | 'Il Sole' featuring Steve Albini and Tatiana Semichastnaya will headline, October 12th, at the Italian Rootstock Festival in Santa Rosa, CA. It will be a great day of all things Italian! This weekend Il Sole performs, September 13th at Festa Coloniale Italiana. The festival takes place in the North Beach (Little Italy) neighborhood of San Francisco. Steve Albini performs solo at the 9th annual Festival Vendemmia on September 20th at the Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, CA. Inspired by the vintage Italian street fairs, it will be a festive evening featuring harvest-themed experiences, live entertainment, and more. Steve also performs most Tuesdays at the A Tavola family style Italian dinner at Francis Ford Coppola Winery in Geyserville, CA. A Tavola is a casual dining experience inspired by Francis Coppola’s favorite way of enjoying a meal. Instead of ordering from menus, the chef prepares a variety of dishes and sends them to your table. It’s great way to enjoy a meal and a lot of fun for the whole family. |
