| “Good Habits” will perform at the Te Pahu Sound Lounge in Te Pahu, Hamilton on September 26th from 7.30pm to 9.30pm. This eclectic indie-folk duo (from Manchester, UK) includes Pete Shaw (accordion) and singer-cellist and songwriter Bonnie Schwarz. The duo play a mix of folk and jazz along with original songs. Pete is an experienced performer who bases his style around many different folk influences from Irish to Klezmer. Covid-19 has left them stranded in New Zealand, but thanks to the warmth and support of new friends, they have made the most of their time there by capturing a collection of songs from their travels. “Going For Broke” represents their leap of faith as they pursue their musical dreams on the other side of the world!
