 Friedrich Lips was born 18 November 1948, in the city of Yemanzhelinsk, Eastern Urals, Russia. Lips celebrates his 70th birthday this 18th November and the accordion world honors a professional life of over 50 years filled with so many accordion achievements."Jubilee concerts" are planned Magnitogorsk, Smolensk and Moscow soon and much of the December "Bayan and Bayanists" festival will be in honor of Friedrich Lips.
