| The International Accordion Competition "Concord of Sounds", scheduled from May 16th to 20th, 2021, is organized by the Marupe Music and Art School in collaboration with the accordion class of the Latvian Academy of Music Jazeps Vitols and the Association of International Schools of Music "Con Anima". The competition is divided into two phases: at the beginning there is a procedure for selecting participants, then the jury of the competition will evaluate the performance of the participants on the basis of the video recordings presented. The competition offers a variety of solo categories for contestants of music schools, contestants of music secondary schools, contestants of higher educational establishments, and contestants of Music Secondary schools. There are also categories for small ensembles (2 to 5 participants), large ensembles (6 to 12 participants), and orchestras. Entries close on May 6th, 2021.
