 Andrew Glover (Andy), former member of the North Shore Musicale Accordion Orchestra passed away suddenly, yet peacefully (non Covid) at Middlemore Hospital in Auckland in December 2020, surrounded by his family singing “Amazing Grace”.Andy was a well-known competitor at the New Zealand Accordion Association annual Championships and Festival, usually entering the “Accordion with self vocal” classes as well as a performing in the Musicale Orchestra. He also set up Singing Telegrams in New Zealand. Andy's composition Tender Tango (Solo) was selected as a test piece for an age category of the 2016 New Zealand Accordion Championships.
