 The Bayan and Accordion Music Festival will be held from February 15th to 17th in St. Petersburg under the leadership of Honored Artist of Russia, Victor Dukaltetenko.The opening concert of the festival will be held in the White Hall of the Polytechnic University, with further concerts on February 16th and 17th being held in the Concert Hall "At the Finland Station". Guest performers include well known soloists and groups from different cities of Russia as follows: Nikolay Miroshnik, Lev Lavrov (Moscow), Yevgeniy Derbenko (Orel), Abuzar Faizullin (Kazan), St. Petersburg musicians. In addition soloists and accordion ensemble Äänekosken harmonikkakerho from Finland will also perform. The event will conclude with a gala concert which will include a performance by the St. Petersburg duet of accordionists and laureates of international competitions, Svetlana Stavitskaya and Vladimir Ushakov.
