 This summer’s AAA 80th Anniversary Festival will be exciting from start to finish!! Monday 9th July 2018, 6 pm: Multi World Champion winner Grayson Masefield is sponsored by the American Accordionists' Association (AAA) to perform at the Kennedy Center Millenium Stage and promote the 80th Anniversary Festival of the AAA which starts on the Wednesday, two days after this concert. The concert will demonstrate the musical capabilities of the accordion showcasing Baroque to original works by composers Bach, Scarlatti, Mozart, Chopin, Angelis, Hermosa to modern styles like Nuevo Tango. For those who cannot attend the concert, the Kennedy Center will broadcast the concert 60 minutes after the performance ends. We will link that performance here. AAA Original Works Concert, 11 July 2018, 4 pm, Performances are: 1. Premier performance of "Sonata In F Major (in the Classical Style)" composed and performed by Joseph Natoli, commissioned by the AAA in celebration of the AAA 80th Anniversary. 2. "Ka Mate" composed by Gorka Hermosa, performed by Grayson Masefield 3. "Carousel of Dreams" composed by Guy Klucevsek, performed by Cody McSherry For those who cannot attend the concert, the AAA site will broadcast the concert "fast upload" within 30 minutes after the performance concludes. We will link that performance here. The outstanding line-up of festival guest artists also includes Stas Venglevski, Mary Tokarski, Lionel Reekie (New Zealand), Joan Sommers conducting the Festival Orchestra and many more.
