 From 2nd to 7th September 2018, Accademia Musicale Santa Cecilia Bergamo is running a Summer Masterclasses for accordion. The accordion course is part of the summer masterclass series organized for piano, violin, cello and chamber music and for the first time - there is accordion! The accordion tutor will be Alexander Selivanov, Professor of “Gnessins” Russian Academy of Music, Moscow. 1st prize winner of Coupe Mondiale, Klingenthal and Castelfidardo competitions; Acting chairman of CIA Music Committee. Famous teachers of different instruments from all over the Europe give master classes at the “Accademia Musicale Santa Cecilia” Summer Masterclasses where you will have 5 days to work on your concert, competition or training repertoire as well as studying the best features of the Russian accordion school, development of technical skills, home work, transcription of classical music for accordion - features of Russian performing style and comprehension of Russian accordion soul. During these days you can also meet colleagues of other musical instruments and have access to their wide musical experience and knowledge.
