 Le directeur artistique Friedrich Lips en association avec l’organisateur Alexander Gataullin vous attend au XXXIième festival "Bayan and Bayanists" qui aura lieu à l’auditorium de l’académie de musique Gnesin à Moscou du 11 au 15 décembre 2019. 2019 Emploi du temps des concerts - posters de chaque concert et livret du programme à: 2019Moscow 11 décembre – Concert d’ouverture 70ième anniversaire du concerto pour domra et orchestre d’Efrem Podgaits et concerto no. 2 “Vivavoce” pour bayan et orchestre, interprétés par Ekaterina Mochalova et Aidar Salakhov, accompagnés par l’orchestre de l’âme russe de l’académie de musique Gnesins Russian. Directeur artistique et chef d’orchestre - Vladimir Shkurovsky. La deuxième partie présentera des harmoniques uniques de différentes parties du monde. Compositions de Bach, Chopin, Gagliano, Piazzolla, Williams et autres compositeurs peuvent etre entendus dans les arrangements pour accordéon, harmonica indien, concertina anglaise, harmonica allemande, mbiri africain, bandonéon, shen chinois et accordéon à boutons. Les Solistes Pyotr Tkachenko et Sergey Soimenov seront accompagnés de l’ensemble de musique folklorique russe, “Russia”, ainsi nommé par Lyudmila Zykina, directrice artistique et chef d’orchestre, Dmitry Dmitrienko. 12th décembre Stravinsky, M. Mussorgsky et A. Na-Yun-Kin. Le soliste est Yuri Kononov, lauréat de competitions internationales et représentant des écoles de Sibérie. Compositions de A. Vivaldi, I. Albeniz, S. Prokofiev seront jouées par le duo Krasnoyarsk composé de Nikita Syrchin et Vladimir Anikin. 70ième anniversaire de Evgeny Derbenko, Pavel Ukhanov, Anton Lukyanovsky, Pavel Fomin, Nikita Tabaev et l’orchestre d’instruments folklorique russes “Mélodies de Russie” du philarmonique Stupino sous la directeur artistique et chef d’orchestre Aleksey Sysoev interprétera des œuvres de Evgeny Derbenko. 13 décembre Yuri Shishkin interprétera des oeuvres de J. Rossini, Yu. Zarembsky, Viatcheslav Semionov, G. Gontarenko, V. Vlasov, J. Bizet, A. Marquez. Le vainqueur de la médaille d’argent à la coupe mondiale catégorie - accordéon digital, prendra part à ce concert. 14 décembre Compositeur and accordéoniste Artyom Nizhnik joueront des retranscriptions de pieces de J.S. Bach, O. Messian, S. Rachmaninov, Franck Angelis, ainsi que des pieces de J. Bizet - F. Bonet et des compositions personnelles. En deuxième partie du concert, deux premières mondiales auront lieu : Symphonie “Apocalypse du 20ième siècle” pour accordéon, orchestre de musique de chambre et percussion par le compositeur actuel originaire de Magadan Alexander Nagaev et le soliste Mikhail Burlakov; et concerto pour violon alto, accordéon et orchestre de chambre du fameux compositeur et accordéoniste moscovite, Roman Galiev. Solistes: Michiru Soeda (violon alto, Allemange-Japon) et Arseniy Strokovskiy (accordéon, photo en bas à droite). Les musiciens accompagnant seront l’orchestre de musique de chambre « saisons » de Moscou avec pour directeur artistique et chef d’orchestre, Vladislav Bulakhov. 15 décembre – Clôture du festival Peter Soave (bandonéon, USA-France) interprètera des oeuvres de A. Piazzolla accompagné par l’ochestre du musique de chambre de Gnesins , l’orchestre de musique de chambre du RAM (chef d’orchestre Andrei Rein); Renzo Ruggieri (Italie – photo en haut à droite) jouera des morceaux jazz et compositions personnelles avec le trio de jazz de Daniel Adiyants.  La 143 ième assemblée générale du congrès d’hiver de la Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA) se tiendra à l’hotel Olympik, Sokolovská 138, à Prague, en République tchèque du 28 février au 1er mars 2020. Le congrès est organisé par le membre du conseil d’administration du CIA, le directeur du conservatoire de musique de Prague, Jirí Lukeš.   Dans le cadre du festival d’automne de Moscou qui célébrait les 70 ans du compositeur, Efrem Podgaits (photo à gauche), fut joué son œuvre “Double Mirror” lors d’un concert avec bayan, violoncelle et orchestre symphonique à la maison des compositeurs à Moscou, le 29 novembre.Les musiciens étaiente l’orchestre symphonique de Radio Orpheus, sous la direction de Sergey Kondrashev et les solistes Friedrich Lips (photo à droite) et Alexander Buzlov (violoncelle). “Miroir double” fut écrit en 2016 à la demande de Friedrich Lips. L’épigraphe de la composition est la citation suivante, tirée du roman de George Eliot, "The Middlemarch": “ Telle un miroir double, l’âme donnera naissance à une série de belles réflections les étirant vers l’avant pour les réfléchir en retour » La recompense "Pure Sound" pour le meilleur enregistrement audio de musique académique russe dans la catégorie "Concerto pour instrument solo et orchestra”, a été attribué à l’enregistrement du concerto de Efrem Podgaits "Miroir double" pour bayan, violoncelle et orchestre symphonique.  La New Zealand Accordion Association (NZAA) annonce la compétition internationale de vidéos 2020 et la promotion de l’accordéon par le célèbre compositeur néo-zélandais Gary Daverne.C’est une excellente opportunité pour l’enseignant de l’accordéoniste vainqueur et le vainqueur lui-même de gagner un voyage en Nouvelle Zélande. C’est une « compétition vidéo pour accordéonistes de tout âge et nationalités » gratuite avec inscription en ligne. Le 1er prix sont deux billets aller et retour pour la Nouvelle Zélande pour les championnats d’accordéon du Pacifique Sud 2020 qui se dérouleront les 30 et 31 mai 2020 à Auckland en Nouvelle Zélande. Est inclus le logement pour 3 nuits et des accès à concerts et festivités.  Picture above: Prof. Grzegorz Stopa with masterclass studentsPicture left: Semion Shmelkov & Prof. Grzegorz Stopa In cooperation with the Gnesin Music Academy Moscow (Russia), the Music and Art Private University of Vienna organized a master class which included a lecture and final concert by Russian lecturer Semion Shmelkov from November 26th to 28th. Semion Shmelkov (Kemerovo) graduated from the Glinka State Conservatory in Novosibirsk with Prof. Alexander Krupin and then studied bayan at the Russian Gnesin Music Academy in Moscow in the class of Prof. Friedrich Lips. He currently teaches at the Gnesin Music Academy. His lecture on the "Russian Bayan School of Friedrich Lips", not only covered the life and work of his revered teacher, but also showed video recordings of former students of the great bayanist, in order to promote and prove his musical diversity in education. Lips has made an outstanding contribution through his 80 world premieres of new works as well as his pedagogical and musicological works, including countless recordings. During the masterclass, Semion dealt with questions about transcriptions and interpretations of classical and contemporary works. The focus was always on the optimal sound, how the respective work can best be made to sound on the accordion. The development of the instrument as well as various playing methods by means of bellows and finger articulation result in enormous possibilities, which must be used in the design of a work in a targeted manner. In the works of Bach, Denissow, Lundquist, Ishi, de Falla, Strauss and Majkusiak, among others, there was a lot of material for discussions in search of the optimal sound. The students had been well prepared for the final concert by their teacher Prof. Grzegorz Stopa, but were also able to incorporate these new ideas into their performances. Semion performed samples of his repertoire such as "No comment" (Merab Gagnidze), "Four Pieces for Accordion" (by his composer-wife Olga Tchistokina), "Aria" (Heitor Villa-Lobos) and "Military March" (Franz Schubert). Overall, the event was very positive and one can already look forward to future cooperation between the Vienna MUK and the Moscow Gnesin Academy. | A Prime Time Tejano Award Show and Dance honoring “Los Texmaniacs” members, Flaco Jimenez and Max Baca took place at the H & H Ballroom in Austin, Texas on December 1st. Leonardo "Flaco" Jiménez is a Norteño, Tex Mex and Tejano music accordionist and singer from San Antonio, Texas. Max Baca founded Grammy Award winners, "Los Texmaniacs" who play a mix of Tex-Mex, World, Roots, Texas/Rock-n-Roll, Conjunto, Country and traditional music. Entertainment was provided by a number of artists including accordionist David Farias. |

 Video: Skerryvore at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2019Popular band “Skerryvore” began their “Winter with Friends Tour” with a sell-out concert at the Darvel Music Festival in Darvel on November 30th. The band (which includes brothers Daniel on accordion and Martin Gillespie on pipes, whistles and accordion) will be recording their tour concerts live in preparation for their new live album to be released in 2020. Skerryvore are a multi-award winning Scottish band creating a ‘trad-rock’ fusion that has seen them perform in over 25 countries worldwide. They have twice been awarded “Live Act of the Year” at the Trad Music Awards.   Accordionist Marko Kassl will play at a Christmas Day performance at the Theatre Krefeld in Krefeld, Germany on December 25th at 3pm.The event will feature “Der Räuber Hotzenplotz” (The Robber Hotzenplotz) which is based on a character in a series of books by children’s author Otfried Preußler.
