 Der künstlerische Leiter Friedrich Lips und der Organisator Alexander Gataullin begrüßen alle zum XXXI. Internationalen Festival "Bajan und Bajanisten", das vom 11. bis 15. Dezember 2019 im Konzertsaal der Russischen Gnesin-Musikakademie in Moskau stattfindet.Konzertkalender 2019 - Poster der einzelnen Konzerte und Programmhefte unter: 2019Moscow 11. Dezember - Eröffnungskonzert 70 Jahre Efrem Podgaits Konzert für Domra und Orchester und Konzert Nr. 2 „Vivavoce“ für Bajan und Orchester werden von Ekaterina Mochalova und Aidar Salakhov in Begleitung des Russian Soul Orchestra der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesins aufgeführt, künstlerischer Leiter und Dirigent - Vladimir Shkurovsky. Der zweite Teil präsentiert einzigartige Obertöne aus verschiedenen Teilen der Welt. Kompositionen von Bach, Chopin, Gagliano, Piazzolla, Williams und anderen Komponisten sind für Akkordeon, indische Harmonika, englische Konzertina, deutsche Harmonika, afrikanische Mbiri, Bandoneon, chinesisches Shen und Knopfakkordeon arrangiert. Die Solisten Pyotr Tkachenko und Sergey Soimenov werden vom Staatlichen Akademischen Russischen Volksensemble "Russland" unterstützt, das nach Lyudmila Zykina, künstlerischer Leiterin und Dirigentin - Dmitry Dmitrienko, benannt ist. 12. Dezember Strawinsky, M. Mussorgsky und A. Na-Yun-Kin. Solist ist Juri Kononow, Preisträger internationaler Wettbewerbe und Vertreter der sibirischen Schulen. Kompositionen von A. Vivaldi, I. Albeniz, S. Prokofiev werden vom Duett Krasnojarsk aufgeführt, das von Nikita Syrchin und Vladimir Anikin komponiert wurde. 70-jähriges Jubiläum von Evgeny Derbenko Pavel Ukhanov, Anton Lukyanovsky, Pavel Fomin, Nikita Tabaev und das Russian Folk Instruments Orchestra „Melodies of Russia“ der Stupino Philharmonic werden Werke von Evgeny Derbenko aufführen. 13. Dezember Yuri Shishkin wird Werke von J. Rossini, Yu aufführen. Sarembski, Wjatscheslaw Semionow, G. Gontarenko, V. Wlasow, J. Bizet, A. Marquez. Der Silbermedaillengewinner der Weltmeisterschaft in der Kategorie Digitales Akkordeon Stanislav Malyshev nimmt am Konzert teil. 14. Dezember Der Komponist und Akkordeonist Artyom Nizhnik wird Transkriptionen der Werke von J.S. Bach, O. Messian, S. Rachmaninov, Franck Angelis sowie die Werke von J. Bizet - F. Bonet und seine eigenen Werke. Im zweiten Teil des Konzerts finden zwei Uraufführungen statt: Sinfonie „Apokalypse des 20. Jahrhunderts“ für Akkordeon, Kammerorchester und Schlagzeug des modernen Magadan-Komponisten Alexander Nagaev, Solist Mikhail Burlakov; und Konzertstück für Bratsche, Akkordeon und Kammerorchester des berühmten Moskauer Komponisten und Akkordeonisten Roman Galiev. Solisten: Michiru Soeda (Bratsche, Deutschland-Japan) und Arseniy Strokovskiy (Akkordeon, Bild unten rechts). Die Interpreten sind das Moscow Chamber Orchestra Seasons, der künstlerische Leiter und der Dirigent Vladislav Bulakhov 15. Dezember - Abschluss des Festivals Peter Soave (Bandoneon, USA-Frankreich) wird Werke von A. Piazzolla in Begleitung des Gnesins Chamber Orchestra des RAM (Dirigent Andrei Rein) aufführen; Renzo Ruggieri (Italien - Bild oben rechts) wird zusammen mit dem Jazz-Trio von Daniel Adiyants Jazzkompositionen und eigene Werke aufführen.   Im Rahmen des Moskauer Herbstfestivals zum 70-jährigen Geburtstag des Komponisten Efrem Podgaits (Bild links) wurde sein Werk „Double Mirror“ am 29. November bei einem Konzert für Bajan, Cello und Sinfonieorchester im Moskauer Komponistenhaus aufgeführt .Künstler waren das Radio Orpheus Symphony Orchestra unter seinem Dirigenten Sergey Kondrashev mit den Solisten Friedrich Lips (Bild rechts) und Alexander Buzlov (Cello). "Double Mirror" wurde 2016 auf Wunsch von Friedrich Lips geschrieben. Die Inschrift der Komposition sind die folgenden Zeilen aus George Eliots Roman "The Middlemarch": "Wie ein Doppelspiegel, Die Seele wird Reihen von schönen Reflexionen gebären, Vorwärts, sie zu verlängern und zurück. Dies ist ein kostenloser Online „Video-Wettbewerb für Akkordeonisten aller Altersgruppen und Nationalitäten“ mit einem ersten Preis in Höhe von zwei Hin- und Rückfahrt Flugtickets nach Neuseeland zu den 2020 South Pacific Akkordeon Meisterschaften, 30-31 Mai 2020 Auckland, Neuseeland.  Picture above: Prof. Grzegorz Stopa with masterclass studentsPicture left: Semion Shmelkov & Prof. Grzegorz Stopa In cooperation with the Gnesin Music Academy Moscow (Russia), the Music and Art Private University of Vienna organized a master class which included a lecture and final concert by Russian lecturer Semion Shmelkov from November 26th to 28th. Semion Shmelkov (Kemerovo) graduated from the Glinka State Conservatory in Novosibirsk with Prof. Alexander Krupin and then studied bayan at the Russian Gnesin Music Academy in Moscow in the class of Prof. Friedrich Lips. He currently teaches at the Gnesin Music Academy. His lecture on the "Russian Bayan School of Friedrich Lips", not only covered the life and work of his revered teacher, but also showed video recordings of former students of the great bayanist, in order to promote and prove his musical diversity in education. Lips has made an outstanding contribution through his 80 world premieres of new works as well as his pedagogical and musicological works, including countless recordings. During the masterclass, Semion dealt with questions about transcriptions and interpretations of classical and contemporary works. The focus was always on the optimal sound, how the respective work can best be made to sound on the accordion. The development of the instrument as well as various playing methods by means of bellows and finger articulation result in enormous possibilities, which must be used in the design of a work in a targeted manner. In the works of Bach, Denissow, Lundquist, Ishi, de Falla, Strauss and Majkusiak, among others, there was a lot of material for discussions in search of the optimal sound. The students had been well prepared for the final concert by their teacher Prof. Grzegorz Stopa, but were also able to incorporate these new ideas into their performances. Semion performed samples of his repertoire such as "No comment" (Merab Gagnidze), "Four Pieces for Accordion" (by his composer-wife Olga Tchistokina), "Aria" (Heitor Villa-Lobos) and "Military March" (Franz Schubert). Overall, the event was very positive and one can already look forward to future cooperation between the Vienna MUK and the Moscow Gnesin Academy. | A Prime Time Tejano Award Show and Dance honoring “Los Texmaniacs” members, Flaco Jimenez and Max Baca took place at the H & H Ballroom in Austin, Texas on December 1st. Leonardo "Flaco" Jiménez is a Norteño, Tex Mex and Tejano music accordionist and singer from San Antonio, Texas. Max Baca founded Grammy Award winners, "Los Texmaniacs" who play a mix of Tex-Mex, World, Roots, Texas/Rock-n-Roll, Conjunto, Country and traditional music. Entertainment was provided by a number of artists including accordionist David Farias. |

 Video: Skerryvore at Shrewsbury Folk Festival 2019Popular band “Skerryvore” began their “Winter with Friends Tour” with a sell-out concert at the Darvel Music Festival in Darvel on November 30th. The band (which includes brothers Daniel on accordion and Martin Gillespie on pipes, whistles and accordion) will be recording their tour concerts live in preparation for their new live album to be released in 2020. Skerryvore are a multi-award winning Scottish band creating a ‘trad-rock’ fusion that has seen them perform in over 25 countries worldwide. They have twice been awarded “Live Act of the Year” at the Trad Music Awards.
