 Roland und Fatar unterzeichnen f. Zusammenarbeit der V-Accordion-Produtkion. Die Roland Corporation Japan gab heute (4. September 2014) bekannt, dass eine neue Produktionstätte und Outsourcing-Vereinbarung mit Fatar srl finalisiert wurde und die Fertigung für die V-Accordion® Linie wird ab August dieses Jahres in Italien fortgesetzt. Fatar ist ein italienischer Hersteller von Tastaturen für Digital-Pianos, Synthesizer und Orgeln, in Recanati, Italien (Werks Bild unten) basiert. Das Unternehmen wurde von Lino Ragni 1956 gegründet. In Kombination mit dem Roland-Experten-Ingenieurteams in Japan und der Firma Fatar, bekannt für exzellente Handwerkskunst und Qualitätsstandards, wird Roland sich auch in Zunkunft der Weiterentwicklung der sehr speziellen V-Accordion Instrumente, widmen.   Fünf Akkordeonisten - Pasquale Coviello (Italien), Renzo Ruggieri (Italien), Emilio Cervetto (Italien), Raul Varelli (Argentinien), Mario Javier Braun (Argentinien) - wird während des 21. Inter Raduno Dei Veterani Della Fisarmonica ein Handabdruck gemacht (21. internationales Treffen der Veteranen), am Akkordeon Museum in Recoaro Terme, Italien. Die Veranstaltung ist vom 05 bis 07 September angesetzt und der Veranstalter ist Elio Bertolini. - Pasquale Coviello, aus Neapel, ist ein Akkordeonist, Komponist und Lehrer. Er hat zwei Lehrbücher geschrieben und schreibt derzeit eine drittes, über Jazz Akkordeon. - Renzo Ruggieri, aus Castelfidardo, ist einer der führenden italienischen Jazz Akkordeonisten und ein internationaler Künstler. Renzo hat bereits 10 CDs und MP3-Alben eTracks aufgenommen und gedruckte Noten gibt es online unter: Renzo Ruggieri - Emilio Cervetto gewann mehrere Akkordeonwettbewerben in Italien, und ist bekannt als großer Interpret der Klassiker auf dem Akkordeon. - Raul Varelli, aus Buenos Aires, Argentinien, hat seit 1975 seine eigene, sehr erfolgreiche Akkordeonschule, und er hat auch eine lange Karriere als Musiker genossen. - Dr. Mario Javier Braun, von Rosario, Argentinien, hat sich auch in Südamerika für sein Verständnis von digitalen Akkordeons bekannt gemacht. |
Nihad Hrustanbegovic Neues Album, neue Projekte - Niederlandeby Harley Jones |
 Video oben: Soundtrack "Balkan Sorrow" aus dem Film von Peter Volkart "Zimmer 606" von Nihad Hrustanbegovic zusammengesetzt und mit Blehmuzik spielten zusammen. Nihad Hrustanbegovic hat sein nächstes Konzert am Sonntag, 14. September an der Filmhuis in Zevenaar. Konzert Titel ist: '20 Jahre in den Niederlanden. " Nihad Hrustanbegovic wurde von der niederländischen Plattenfirma Zefir Rekorde aufgefordert, 'Die vier Jahreszeiten' von Antonio Vivaldi auf dem Akkordeon aufzuzeichnen und die Zubereitungen sind jetzt in vollem Gange. Das Album mit Nihad Transkription von „The Four Seasons“, wird am 1. Dezember 2014 veröffentlicht werden und auch Werke von Bach, Pachelbel und Albinoni beinhalten. Ein weiteres Projekt ist ein Soundtrack von Nihad Hrustanbegovic für einen Dokumentarfilm von Jack Janssen. mit dem Titel "Die Farm der Tiere“ mit Veröffentlichung im Jahr 2015. Ein weiterer Akkordeon-Soundtrack von Jorrit Kleijnen gespielt von Nihad Hrustanbegovic wurde für die neue TV-Serie "Taart" (Kuchen) von Tallulah Hazekamp Schwab aufgezeichnet. 64. CMA Trophée Mondial in Kaunas, Litauenby Anna Bodell |
  The 64th CMA Trophée Mondial is to be hosted in Kaunas, Lithuania from the 23rd - 28th September 2014 by the Lithuanian National Accordionist's Union under its President Kazys Stonkus and Vice President Mindaugas Labanauskas. CMA-Präsident Frédéric Deschamps (Bild rechts) sagt: "Wir freuen uns sehr, besuchen Litauen und die Stadt Kaunas zum ersten Mal zu besuchen und diesen aks Ort unseres Trophée Mondial 2014" bestellt zu haben. Die Internationale Jury wird sehr beschäftigt sein, da sich für das Festival rund 120 Teilnehmer in den verschiedenen Kategorien angemeldet haben. Die Kandidaten sind aus über 20 verschiedenen Ländern, darunter USA, Brasilien, China, Russland und ganz Europa. Wie in den Vorjahren wird die Veranstaltung Live in seiner Gesamtheit im Web ausgestrahlt werden.   The Welcome Concert featured world-renowned accordionists Peter Soave and Mary Tokarski followed by Mr. Entertainment himself, Dick Contino, with band members Corky Bennett, Pete Contino and Bob Sax, for a phenomenal opening of the event. Over 40 classes were offered during the next three full days of the event. Performances by “Of One Accord”, a 10 piece accordion ensemble from Alberta Canada directed by Margaret Miller, Alicia Baker wowed the audience and concluded in duet with Michael Bridge. Stas Venglevski performed with charismatic style only to be eclipsed by the duets he performed with Joan Cochran Sommers! That evening the presentations were made to Stas as Honorary Conductor and a special Lifetime Achievement Award to Gina Brannelli. Wednesday was another day full of classes with lunch music by Chuck Henry and event organiser Paul Pasquali. That evening was dancing with the music by Gordon Kohl and Chuck Henry, a jazz accordion set by Ron Borelli followed by an unforgettable concert with Joey Miskulin backed by bass, drums and clarinet. Thursday was filled with classes and lunch music by Elena & Gregory Fainshtein and Pete Barbutti with his signature brand of humor. The Gala concert started with Michael Bridge, who received several standing ovations. Joan Sommers conducted the orchestra and wowed audience with a varied program - a true example that there is nothing like live music done right! After the concert nearly everyone was at Club Concerto saying goodbye to friends, new and old. |

| The Accordions Worldwide news for the week ending September 8th 2000 included a report of a concert paying tribute to Wolmer Beltrami (1922-99), regared by many as one of the accordion ‘greats’ of the 20th Century. A highly versatile accordionist and composer, renowned for his duo work with fellow Italian accordionist Gorni Kramer in the 1940s/50s, Beltrami latterly became closely involved with the cinema, recording numerous film soundtracks. Tribute to Wolmer Beltrami – Italy Contributed by Holda Paoletti-Kampl A tribute to one of the greatest Italian accordionists of all times, Wolmer Beltrami, was recently held in Breda Cisoni (province of Mantua). Beltrami died on August 28th last year and was universally praised for his performing skills, particularly in classical music and jazz, which earned him the prestigious ‘World Accordion Oscar’. The musical tribute was given by well-known personalities of the accordion world including Renzo Ruggieri with his group, Paolo Picchio's Milonga Quintet, Luigi Lombardi, Massimiliano Pitocco, Adolfo Del Cont, Valentino Lorenzetti, Gervasio Marcosignori, and Giancarlo Caporilli. |

 The 4th Festival of Chorinho and Concertina takes place in the open air of the town square in Rosal, Brazil, on September 5th and 6th. Accordionists performing include international artists Renato Borghetti, Marcelo Caldi, Dudu Oliveira, Zé da Velha, and Silverio Pontes. There is no admission on either day, and local artists will also perform. |

 On Monday September 8th, 6.30 to 8.30pm, accordionist and teacher Alan Bern leads a klezmer master class at SOAS, University of London. The venue is Room G52, SOAS, Thornhaugh Street, Russell Square, London WC1H 0XG. Participants in the master class should have minimum instrumental proficiency Grade 5 or equivalent. Tickets: free for SOAS students; £11 - full price; £10 – concessions; telephone 020 7898 4307.Alan Bern communicates enormous enthusiasm, knowledge and skill in his charismatic teaching sessions on klezmer music. Alan was one of the stalwarts and developers of the Jewish Music Institute’s KlezFest and this is one of his rare visits to London. Alan Bern is the musical director of Brave Old World and has been one of the leading lights in the teaching and revival of Yiddish music in the USA, Canada, and Europe since the early 1980s. He has played with the Klezmer Conservatory Band, Andy Statman, the Klezmatics, Kapelye, Theodore Bikel, and many others, and is currently part of a duo with accordionist Guy Klucevsek, a trio with trumpeter Paul Brody and guitarist Michael Rodach, a quartet ‘Brave Old World’ with Michael Alpert, Kurt Bjorling and Stuart Brotman. and a septet with Aaron Alexander, Paul Brody, Alex Kontorovich, Cesar Lerner, Martin Lillich, and Marcelo Moguilevsky. Since the 1990s he has been consultant and/or faculty at many international festivals and workshops of Yiddish music and he is currently the Program Director of Yiddish Summer Weimar. His contributions to Yiddish music have been cited in important books on the revival of Jewish music, such as American Klezmer by Mark Slobin, The Essential Klezmer by Seth Rogovoy, and Virtually Jewish by Ruth Ellen Gruber. |

 Featuring Texas Roots Music by Debra Peters & the Love Saints, Mariachi Corbetas, Los Trovadores, and the Greg Izor Blues Band Austin, Texas – September 3, 2014 – This year marks Texas Folklife’s 30th anniversary. The non-profit began in 1984 with a handful of committed, young folklorists who sought to preserve the traditional culture of the state. Since that time, Texas Folklife has preserved and presented the diverse cultures and living heritage of the Lone Star State, honored the cultural traditions passed down in communities across the state, and helped to explore those traditions importance in contemporary society. There will be a year long celebration of the 30th anniversary with exhibits, talks, seminars and of course lots of music. |

 The 16th semi-annual Roland Accordion Event will be held on Sunday, 9/21/14, from 1:00-3:PM at Falcetti Music, 1755 Boston Rd., Springfield, Ma. 01129. Refreshments will be served and the event is open to the public.Since 2006 Falcetti Music in Springfield, Massachusetts has scheduled two major events each year with 50 to 75 attendees. These events included workshop, concerts by Roland artists, and Roland customer performances. The workshop portion of the event will be presented by Sam Falcetti, founder of Falcetti Music. Included in the Entertainment performance section will be performers who played at the ” Accordions Now Festival” held at the Nashua N.H. Marriott in August. Also on the agenda 9 year old Angela Falcetti will be featured on the Roland FR1X. Angela has been playing the accordion for 3 years and is no stranger to performing and competing. She performs at many venues in the greater Springfield area and was also the recipient of several trophies at both the ATAM and AAA Festivals. This international festival includes meetings, concerts, master classes, instrument demonstrations, and a competition to select the winner of the Hohner Trophee contest.  ‘IL Sole’, featuring accordionists Steve Albini and Tatiana Semichastnaya, will perform at the 2014 Festa Coloniale in San Francisco's North Beach Italian neighborhood on September 13th. The Italian Festival features great music, food and other activities. ‘IL Sole’ will perform at 11am and 3pm.‘IL Sole’ will also headline the Italian Rootstock festival in Santa Rosa, California, on October 12th. Steve Albini will be performing at the Francis Ford Coppola winery Vendemmia on September 20th. Inspired by the vintage Italian street fairs, Vendemmia is a festive evening featuring harvest-themed experiences, live entertainment, and more. |
