| Video: CNIMA alumni Jean Baptiste Baudin plays at the Berlin Philharmonic and with Didier Lockwood. Jean Baptiste Baudin, is a CNIMA student alumni. He studied the accordion with Thierry Bouclier while studying part-time at the CNIMA. He then joined the CNIMA as a full time student where he obtained the French national Diplome D’Études Musicales in accordion both in variety and classical music. During his studies at the CNIMA, he won several first prizes at international competitions (in 2013: Trophée Mondial and in 2014 Coupe Mondiale and Klingenthal). He pursued his studies at the Haute école de Musique de Lausanne and is now a full time musician. The CNIMA directed by Nathalie Boucheix welcomes accordion players from all levels and all ages, from potential world class players to beginners. The CNIMA full year program starts on September 21st and students are given the opportunity to study for National French conservatory diplomas.
