Video 2: Tian Jianan
| The 2020 Australian International Accordion Championships and Festival was held as an online competition this year, due to the impacts of Covid 19 with 140 competitors (170 plus entries) from across Europe, Asia, USA, New Zealand and of course Australia. Organised and run by the Australian Accordion Teachers Association (AATA), a premiere voting member of the Confédération Internationale des Accordéonistes (CIA), this competition is special with an emphasis on encouraging young competitors, with the 12 years old and under category attracting 40 competitors. This was won by Yongxi Hong (China), 2nd Maria Telesheva (USA) only 0.3 of a mark lower! 3rd Faris Halilovic (Bosnia and Herzegovina). The premiere category was a very close competition between Oleksandr Khrustevich (Ukraine) 1st and Tian Jianan (China). After deducting the high and low mark of the jury, both contestants were marked 1st by three of the six judges and two jury gave maximum points to Tian Jianan. Close was 3rd Marcell Csuka (Hungary).
