 On September 9th John Kirkpatrick will give a live online concert for the Oxford Folk Weekend beginning at 8pm.John has become one of the most prolific figures on the English folk scene, performing solo, in duos, acoustic groups and electric bands, and has established an enviable reputation as an instrumental virtuoso and session musician, as well as a leading interpreter of English folk music. John has a busy week as he began a Button Accordion Workshop at The Church Barn, Bishop's Castle in Shropshire on September 4th. The workshop, for the B/C/C sharp button box will run through to September 6th. Please note - Due to Covid-19, the following events have been postponed: September 12th & 13th: workshops at Lewes Saturday Folk Club, The Elephant and Castle, White Hill, Lewes, East Sussex, BN7 2DJ. Postponed until 2021. September 19th: concert at the Weobley Village Hall, 8 Gadridge Road, Weobley, Herefordshire. Postponed indefinitely. For details email: squeezer@johnkirkpatrick.co.uk |
