Super Orchestra Day in Surrey – UKby Christine Johnstone |

 Super Orchestra Day, believed to be the largest and longest running orchestra workshop day in the UK will be held on October 27th at the Village Hall in Ripley Surrey.Attendees will have the opportunity to come together and enjoy a day of practice and evening concert performance of three pieces. New and seasoned players are welcome. During the day there will be a mini orchestra running a free workshop in the rear hall for under 16's. This is aimed at complete beginners and those who have recently started playing. The mini Orchestra will work towards playing a short piece in the concert also, A range of instruments are available for children to borrow on the day. We want to encourage those who have never played the accordion before. Although the day is free for under 16's, registrations are compulsory. The Super Orchestra will be supported by Watford Accordion Band, Tillingbourne Accordion Orchestra (picture below), London Accordion Players and for the first time Crawley Accordion Orchestra (picture above left).
