| On Thursday May 10th, 7.30pm, fiddle player Gemma Donald and accordionist Alan Small are the guests at the Carlisle Accordion & Fiddle Club. The venue is St Margaret Mary’s Social Club, Scalegate Road, Carlisle, Cumbria CA2 4JX. Admission is £3.50 and £1.50 for local players. There is a raffle and a bar. Alan Small was the All Scotland Accordion Champion in 2002, teaches the accordion, plays in a variety of styles, and is currently band leader with the Lomond Ceilidh Band. Gemma Donald is a fiddle player, accordionist and pianist, and also an accordion technician, trained in Castelfidardo. |
