Международный фестиваль современного аккордеона, Рим – Италияby Holda Paoletti-Kampl |

  С 24 по 27 мая в Риме прошел первый Международный фестиваль современного аккордеона, организованный Консерваторией Санта Чечилия (Conservatorio Santa Cecilia). Фестиваль был направлен на популяризацию и признание аккордеона, особенно в связи с тем, что аккордеон до сих пор не слишком известен и нечасто звучит в итальянских театрах. Художественный руководитель фестиваля Массимилиано Питокко (Massimiliano Pitocco), профессор аккордеона этой Консерватории, подготовил насыщенную четырехдневную программу, в которую вошли серия семинаров, концертов и международный конкурс. Семинары провели маэстро Мика Вяйрюнен (Mika Väyrynen) – концертный исполнитель и преподаватель Академии Сибелиуса в Хельсинки, Финляндия, и Фредерик Дешамп (Frederic Deschamps ) – исполнитель и преподаватель Парижской Консерватории, Франция.Международный конкурс аккордеонистов был разделен на три категории: категория А – до 15 лет, категории В – до 18 лет и Категория С – без ограничения возраста. Участники приехали из Словакии, Финляндии, Хорватии, Японии, Сербии и Италии. В состав жюри вошли: пианист и аккордеонист Фаусто Ди Чезаре (Fausto Di Cesare), композитор и аккордеонист Алессандро Сбордони (Alessandro Sbordoni), Скурти Германо (Scurti Germano), Мирко Патарини (Mirco Patarini), Мика Вяйрюнен, Фредерик Дешамп и контрабасист и преподаватель Консерватории Перуджы Даниэль Рокко (Daniel Rocco). Результаты конкурса: Категория A: 1 место – Микаэль Топпо (Michael Toppo), 2 место – Франческо Браччи (Francesco Bracci). Категория B: победитель – Самюэле Телари (Samuelе Telari)/ Второе и третье места не присуждались. Категория C: победителем стал участник из Италии Анджело Миеле (Angelo Miele). 2 место – хорват Иван Сверком (Ivan Sverkom), 3 место – Петар Марич (Petar Maric). | 29 и 30 мая музыкальный центр Musiekhuis Gert Nijkamp провел в Апелдорне, Нидерланды, свое ежегодное весеннее мероприятие. Многие клиенты и поклонники аккордеона съехались на фестиваль не только, чтобы подобрать себе инструмент по специальным ценам, но также, чтобы послушать талантливых аккордеонистов. Они не были разочарованы!. Гвоздем программы в этом году стал дуэт из России в составе Юлии Америковой (аккордеон) и Александра Селиванова (баян), известный как «Una Sinistra». Оба они очень известные аккордеонисты. И здесь этот искусный дуэт продемонстрировал свою универсальность, исполнив классический и народный репертуар на готово-выборных инструментах, после чего, сменив инструменты, музыканты исполнили пьесы в стиле французского мюзета. Кроме того в программе фестиваля приняли участие Доминик Паатс (Dominque Paats) из Бельгии, который в полном объеме продемонстрировал возможности нового цифрового аккордеона Roland V Аккордеон FR – 7X; Тони Роел (Tony Roel), который является популярным исполнителем и постоянным участником этого фестиваля. И, наконец, новый сотрудник центра, Питер Босма (Pieter Bosma), который недавно присоединился к команде Nijkamp и который является специалистом в области электронных баянов и аккордеонов. На этом шоу действительно каждый нашел что-то свое! Следующий фестиваль пройдет в конце осени. |

Южно-Тихоокеанский аккордеонный конкурс, включающий в себя Новозеландский аккордеонный конкурс, пройдет 5 (суббота) и 6 (воскресенье) июня в Эпсоме. Расписание конкурса и фестиваля можно загрузить с веб-сайта Новозеландской Аккордеонной Ассоциации (New Zealand Accordion Association). | С 25 июля по 8 августа в городе Пескассероли, Абруццо, пройдет фестиваль ‘Accordion in the Park’. Это мероприятие включает в себя конкурсы, концерты, семинары и конференции. 6 августа в рамках фестиваля пройдет первый Международный конкурс аккордеонистов Tommaso Coccione International Accordion и конкурс исполнителей на диатонической гармонике. Томмазо Коччионе (Tommaso Coccione) был местным аккордеонистом, эмигрировавшим в США, где выступал в театрах и стал очень известен, в том числе благодаря своим совместным выступлениям с братьями Пьетро и Гвидо Дейро (Pietro and Guido Deiro). Председателем жюри станет Ренцо Руджиери (Renzo Ruggieri). Артистический директор – Данило Ди Паолоникола.  The Santa Maria Accordion Band celebrated World Accordion Day in style with a concert on May 8th at St. Catherine's Retirement Complex in the town of Attard on the Mediterranean Island of Malta. | Accordionist Joe Romiti was for many years keen to know some technical details about an Excelsior accordion that once belonged to his late father, Tony Romiti. Purchased in the 1930s, Tony Romiti frequently used this accordion to accompany the then up-and-coming Perry Como, who was also a long time family friend. Joe this week wrote to Accordions Worldwide, who referred him to the very knowledgeable Steve Navoyosky. Thanks to Steve, Joe now has alot of information about this model, described by Steve as “an accordion set up longed for by the polka playing accordion player”. This model was similar to one that was built for Pietro Deiro in 1932. Joe comments: “I have no intention of selling this instrument. It will stay in the family as an heirloom”.  The regional series of Irish music contests that lead as qualifying stages to the annual Fleadh Cheoil na hÉireann are taking place all over Ireland, including the All Britain event this year held in Glasgow, Scotland, and a festival in Illinois, USA. | The Jimmy Blair Accordion Orchestra (MD Gary Blair) will be performing in concert on Sunday June 6th, 2pm, in Robertson Park, Renfrew, Glasgow, as part of the annual Renfrew Gala Day. Renfrew Gala Day, held on the first Sunday in June is supported by over 10,000 people who gather to watch the opening parade from Canal Street to Robertson Park. The parade is led by the Renfrew North Pipe Band and includes a horse drawn carriage carrying the ‘Renfrew citizen of the year’. Local groups enter into the spirit of the celebrations by dressing up in eye-catching costumes.  Accordionist Guy Klucevsek performs a solo concert on Sunday, June 6th, 2pm, at the SHOW Gallery, 156 Stuyvesant Place, Staten Island, NY 10301. Admission is free. The SHOW Gallery is literally just up the hill from the Staten Island Ferry Terminal, a 5-minute walk. From Manhattan, take the 1pm ferry, getting into St. George at 1.25pm. This concert is a part of SummerFest, a series of FREE music, comedy, animation, and performance art interventions by Staten Island artists, presented by the Council on the Arts & Humanities for Staten Island (COAHSI). SummerFest Excellence in the Arts Awards are made possible through the NYC Department of Cultural Affairs.   ZUM, featuring accordionist Eddie Hession, are in concert at Norden Farm Centre for the Arts, Altwood Road, Maidenhead, Berkshire SL6 4PF, on Friday June 11th, 7.30pm.  Music courses for ‘modern music’ takes place on July 5th, 6th and 7th in Scalea, Cosenza. The courses are designed to provide an opportunity for student instrumentalists and singers to meet, improve their skills and to socialize. All participants will be taught by qualified teachers: 1.
