Accordionist Julien Gonzales performs next week, as follows: August 6th, 6pm - solo at the church of Lentillac, Pyrenees August 7th, 9pm - trio ‘Tango Oriental’, Floirac, Pyrenees August 8th, 9pm -trio ‘Tango Oriental’, a aynac, Pyrenees August 9th, 8.30pm – solo, Sousceyrac-En-Quercy, Lot, southern France Julien Gonzales is an international performer, and acts as a jury member for international competitions. Born in Besançon, he started to learn music at age 7. He graduated with honours in Musicology from the Conservatoire of Dijon where he also studied Chamber music and, at the same time, studied accordion with Frederic Deschamps at the Conservatoire of Paris until 2008. He went on studying with Viatcheslav Semionov at the Gnessin Academy in Moscow until 2010. He won the CIA Coupe Mondiale, both as a Junior participant from 2003 to 2005, and as a Senior from 2006 to 2010. He was also awarded several international prizes in chamber music in 2007, 2008, and 2010. He is also a teacher and co-designs accordions for Evoluo. |
