 The September Squeezebox Circle accordion drop-in is now planned for September 10th from 7pm to 9pm, in the covered pergola in the centre of Strathcona Park, Vancouver, BC.Participants are invited to bring their instruments and music stands and if you have something new to share, bring copies of the music if you want folks to play along! The following day (September 11th), the 14th annual Accordion Noir Festival will be held at Strathcona's Maclean Park from 2pm to 5pm. Performers include bluesy gospel squeezebox player, Ana Bon-Bon, jazz group “Hot Water Quintette” and Hummingbird Quartette among others. For details email: accordionnoirfest@gmail.com |
