 2010 ConcorsoLe 35eme congrès annuel international Accordion Festival a lieu à Castelfidardo, Ancona, du 5 au 10 Octobre, avec un programme complet d'événements musicaux passionnants. Le festival commence par une ouverture Grand Gala (5 Octobre), suivi par les compétitions internationales, Soirée Galas au Théâtre Astra, soirées à thème, concerts live jour et nuit et une édition nouvelle et passionnante de la réalité Music Show, et Baby Music Club pour connaître les plus petits avec des jeux et l'éducation musicale. Le Festival Castelfidardo 2010 offre aux visiteurs sept domaines, tous avec entrée libre: Le Grand Gala d'ouverture ( 5 Octobre) et soirées de gala au Théâtre Astra, des concerts à l'auditorium San Francisco, le nouvel emplacement "sur la route", le réality Show Music et le bébé Music Club dédié aux enfants. Vivent aussi des concerts, des présentations de livres et d'enregistrements, le "Point Shop" avec des vêtements et accessoires, l'Infopoint, expositions et présentations d'instruments de musique. Pour conclure n'importe quel soir, est un «Must Stop" sur le "On-Stage Après Festival" concerts. Le cœur du festival est le prestigieux 35eme internationale pour solistes, orchestres et ensembles, qui comprend une section spéciale dédiée à la musique d'Astor Piazzolla.  Le Trophée Mondial s'est tenue à Vigo en Espagne du 21 au 25 Septembre à Vigo en Espagne. Des rapports quotidiens et les résultats complets sont sur le de la Confédération Mondial de l'Accordéon (CMA) site web. Grayson Masefield (Nouvelle-Zélande) a remporté la 60ème Trophée Mondial, la première fois qu'un candidat de l'hémisphère Sud a gagné. Deuxième était Pavel Zyabko (Russie) et le troisième a été Angelo Miele (Italie). Les résultats des autres catégories ont été Trophée Mondial: Trophée Mondiale Senior Variété: 1er - Veretennikov Alexander (Russie), 2e - Giorgio Albanese (Italie), 3e - Grama Dorin (Moldova). Trophée Classique Mondiale Junior: 1er - Barradas Joao (Portugal), 2e - Suljkovic Dino (Serbie), 3e - Zhang Haoyang (Chine).  Le dimanche 19 Septembre, Accordion Examination Board of New Zealand l'Allan William Jones Bourses commémoratives (AWJMS) ont eu lieu au théâtre récemment rénové Brian Gerrard à Birkenhead College, Auckland, Nouvelle-Zélande. Artistes interprètes ou exécutants ont été Musicale, notables Soundz Plus, Patrick Lui, l'Est Quintet, Jessica Chen, notables Soundz, Music Makers, Eddie Giffney et NSAO (North Shore Accordion Orchestra). Des bourses ont été décerné à Helen Wang (grades 3 et 4) et Eddie Giffney (7 e, 8 et diplôme). Le Douglas Mews Rose Bowl "l'excellence" a été présenté à Eddie Giffney. Le Prix 2010 d'excellence a été présenté avec succès populaire à Lionel Reekie, chef d'orchestre, professeur et interprète bien connu qui a voyagé en Australie, en Asie du Sud, Chine, Russie, Europe et Amérique du Nord de la scène et chanter. |

| Le 30 Septembre le label Oclassica, basée à Riga, letton, a signé un contrat d'enregistrement avec accordéoniste russe Evgeny Kochetov. L'étiquette indique: «Nous sommes impatients de travailler avec Evgeny et la libération d'un ensemble d'enregistrements remarquables". Evgeny Kochetov (né en 1980) est le lauréat de nombreux concours internationaux, et est un artiste de concert de premier plan. Oсlassica est un label de musique pour la musique classique européenne, spécialisée dans le marketing en ligne et téléchargements de musique numérique. Oсlassica détient des droits exclusifs numérique pour la plupart des enregistrements de musique classique fait dans la dernière décennie sur le territoire post-soviétique, qui n'avait jamais été publié en raison de crises économiques et politiques. | Maximilian Pitocco, Professor of the Santa Cecilia Conservatory in Rome, began teaching a bayan master class in September 2010 at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory of Music in Nocera Terinese. This has been organized in collaboration with the concert artiste Maestro Giuseppe Scigliano, owner of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory. The master class marks the beginning of a fruitful collaboration between the two institutions, and will make available a systematic and high level of training on the bayan accordion. The accordion class at the Tchaikovsky Conservatory has a considerable number of students, expertly prepared by Maestro Pitocco. The Director of the Tchaikovsky Conservatory, Maestro Pierfrancesco Pullia says: "We look forward to a collaboration with the Santa Cecilia in Rome, known for its professionalism, demonstrated by many extraordinary careers of their students, accolades for the teachers, and the quality and skill demonstrated by the preparation of students, with important results achieved on concert stages and international music competitions”. |

 Les 11 et 12 septembre une master-class a eu lieu au sein de l'Accordéon Club de Millau. Sabine Soulié et une dizaine de ses élèves ont participé au stage dirigé par Jean Louis Noton. La pratique M.A.O. (musique assisté par ordinateur) était la matière principale de ce stage.Le samedi 11 septembre au soir un concert a été donné à Sainte Afrique ou le publique a pu apprécier l'orchestre d'Accordéon Club de Millau dirigé par Sabine Soulié et en 2ème partie Jean Louis Noton et son accordéon magique... |

| "Mas en Tango" is the new project of accordionist Salvatore Cauteruccio together with the bassist Sasa Calabrese and drummer Fabrizio La Fauci. Presenting standards of accordion repertoire such as jazz, tango, latin, musette waltz and more combined with the experience and understanding between the three Calabrian musicians, are the elements that characterize their concerts. A very pleasant sound refined with improvised performances. Salvatore Cauteruccio studied jazz at the Conservatory G. Braga of Teramo, under the guidance of Maestro Renzo Ruggieri. He has recorded "Tangout” (Orpheus album that was nominated for best jazz CD for accordion in 2008) and "Live in the Studio". He wrote and arranged music for several theatrical performances (CuntOmbre, Senso, Liolà, Deseo de Libertad) playing in major festivals: Concert in the Kremlin in Moscow, European Music Festival, Award Peppino Principe, Loci Jazz Fest, Jazz Teggiano, Campomarino Accordion Fest, Lamezia Jazz, Jazz Fest Chili and many more.  Un succès à en réveiller les Volcans d’Auvergne ! Du 4 au 13 septembre dernier, la Russie s’est installée en Auvergne, plus précisément dans le Massif du Sancy. A l’occasion de l’Année croisée France-Russie 2010, l’association Sancybérie, née il y a 18 mois dans le petit village de Saint-Sauves d’Auvergne, a organisé un évènement culturel sans précédent dans la région. Durant dix jours, trente artistes ont assuré chaque soir un spectacle d’une qualité exceptionnelle, mêlant Musique, Danse et Art Plastique, donné dans dix villes auvergnates : Saint-Sauves d’Auvergne, Ceyrat, Perpezat, Menat, Saint-Nectaire, Messeix, Egliseneuve d’Entraigues, La Bourboule, Bromont-Lamothe et Le Mont-Dore. Partout les salles étaient combles et l’enthousiasme du public sans limite. Le lien culturel indéniable entre la Russie et la France est bien l’accordéon, à la fois instrument populaire français et instrument populaire russe. C’est donc tout naturellement que ce dernier a tenu une place de choix dans la programmation artistique du Festival 2010. En effet, la première partie des spectacles était assurée par des artistes français : le duo « Paris-Moscou » avec Domi Emorine et Roman Jbanov à l’accordéon et le Quartet « 3 contre 1 » composé de Domi Emorine, Pierre Laval et Félicien Brut, accordéonistes, accompagnés par Thierry Moncheny à la guitare. Suite à cette mise en bouche, Serguey Nazarov, dessinateur sur sable, investissait la scène pour un numéro révélant toute sa poésie et sa maîtrise artistique. C’est ensuite 16 jeunes danseurs du collectif « Vykroutassy » et 8 musiciens de l’ensemble d’instruments populaires « Sybir », tous venus de la lointaine Sibérie , qui transportaient le public français pour plus d’une heure de voyage au-delà de l’Oural, au son des rythmes endiablés et des mélodies romantiques russes, à la vue des costumes colorés et des sourires radieux des jeunes danseuses. Plus de 3000 spectateurs ont assisté à ce spectacle enchanteur. Tous sont repartis séduits en attendant impatiemment l’édition 2011… |

 A fundraising presentation evening about the 35th edition of the International Accordion Festival, Castelfidardo will take place on the 2nd of October for the press and public in the Hotel Klass, organized in collaboration with Lions Club and Riviera del Conero Castelfidardo. During the evening in the restaurant Konvivio, the Ensemble The “I Mantici Armoniosi” directed by Paolo Picchio will perform music by John Williams, Astor Piazzolla, Jacob de Haan, Lalo Schifrin, Duke Ellington, Giampiero Piccioni, Nino Rota, Henry Mancini, Monty Norman, Ennio Morricone, and other popular soundtracks. Also performing are professional dancers from the School of Dance Dance Hobby of Loreto.  John Kirkpatrick performs at The Royal Oak, Station St, Lewes, East Sussex BN7 2DA on Thursday October 7th, 8pm. This is the opening event of the annual Lewes Folk Festival.John Kirkpatrick, 3-row diatonic accordion, melodeon and Anglo concertina, is one of the busiest, most popular and highly regarded figures on the English folk scene, performing solo, in duos, acoustic groups and electric bands. He has an enviable reputation as an instrumental virtuoso and session musician, as well as a leading interpreter of English folk music and song. He has been a member of the Albion Country Band, Magic Lantern, The Richard Thompson Band, Umps and Dumps, Steeleye Span, Brass Monkey, Trans-Europe Diatonique, and Band of Hope, as well as in numerous ceilidh bands. It is in a solo capacity that he performs at the festival. |

 Antonio Spaccarotella and Danilo Di Paolonicola will hold a master class for diatonic accordion on Saturday October 9th at Via Mazzini, 11 at Music & Co. area, Castelfidardo. This event is part of the 35th International Accordion Festival.There will be two sessions, from 9am to 1pm, and from 3pm to 5pm, and the course, in Italian and English, is open to musicians of diatonic accordion of basic or advanced level. There will be a maximum of 10 students and space for up to 60 listeners. The master class is open to all those who play the diatonic accordion (2, 4, 8, 12 and 18 basses), and who want to improve technical and interpretative aspects and expand their repertoire. The master class will be divided into two parts: theory and practice, though the ability to read music is not essential. The master class will use ethnic and folk music. • The first session will address the following topics: construction of harmonies, scales, harmonic functions, melody, analysis of the rhythms most used, analysis of score, notes on improvisation. • The second part will be devoted almost exclusively to the instrument: use of the bellows (dynamics, effects, etc..), harmonization of bass, the arrangements possible with the right hand (depending on the instrument used), the study of joints, effects of the instrument, as improve their technique in a short time, perfecting the songs already assimilated, Saltarello Abruzzese (studying phraseology, expression and style, use of low tones, the use of bellows, effects, introduction of melodic patterns and rhythmic figures, improvisation). | The accordion orchestra Euphonia (MD Sonja Merz) celebrates 25 years since foundation with two concerts in November. The ensemble Akkorde 0n Fire also performs on both dates. The dates are: November 6th, 6pm – 8.30pm, at the Konzertsaal im Kant-Gymnasium, Bismarckstr. 54, Spandau, Berlin – admission is free November 13th, 6 pm - Bürgersaal in Berlin-Zehlendorf, Teltower Damm 18; admission: 7 Euro, reduced 4.50 Euro What began 25 years ago with four accordion pupils has developed in recent years into a resounding success story: the accordion orchestra Euphonia, from Berlin, has received international awards on several occasions for its expressive musical interpretations. Guest performances have included two concert tours in China. Euphonia is always ready to present new musical styles to its audience – in the last few years, Argentinean tango, with the legendary bandoneon player Luis Stazo. With the concert ‘Euphoniale’ the orchestra will be celebrating a quarter-century of “accordion with passion”.
