 20-ая Юбилейная Las Vegas International Accordion Conventio проходила с 14 по 17 октября 2019 года. Бурное празднование 20-летия, воспоминания о замечательных прошедших годах, о великих художниках и о многих прекрасных событиях прошедших за все это время. Ежедневные отчеты, фотографии и видео по адресу: 2019LasVegasВ этом году выступали аккордеонисты (в алфавитном порядке), Gina Brannelli (вверху справа), Елена Файнштейн, Лиз Финч, Гордон Кол, Джинни Мак, Grayson Masefield, Paul Pasquali ((вверху справа), Cory Pesaturo, Татьяна Семичастная, Joan Sommers, Antonio Spaccarotella (внизу справа), Mary Tokarski, Стив и Майкл Трукко, Stas Venglevski и Майк Зампичени. Организатор Paul Pasquali перевозит все аккордеоны, музыку и материалы из своего магазина, а также звук и освещение из Солт-Лейк-Сити. В этом году Пол с гордостью выпустил новую модель «Concerto 2019». В честь этого замечательного событии профессор Joan Sommers дирижировала Международным аккордеонным оркестром Лас-Вегаса (видео в Daily Reports 17th). Я приглашаю всех на этот замечательный фестиваль в следующем году с понедельника 26 октября по четверг 29 октября 2020 года. | Победителями категорий «Баян» и «Аккордеон» Международного конкурса исполнителей на русских народных инструментах «ЕВРАЗИЯ III», который проходил в Екатеринбурге с 24 по 30 октября, являются: «Аккордеон» 1-я премия: Данил Шаравьев 2- я премия: Арслан Алиев 3- я премия: Никита Сырчин «Баян» 1- я премия: Олжас Нурланов 2- я премия: Владимир Ступников 3- я премия: Артур Адршин Учредителями конкурса являются Министерство культуры Российской Федерации, Министерство культуры Свердловской области, Уральская государственная консерватория им. М.П. Мусоргского, Уральский музыкальный колледж, Свердловский музыкальный колледж (техникум) имени П.И. Чайковского, при поддержке Благотворительного фонда Михаила Ульяшкина. Мероприятие направлено на развитие творчества молодых исполнителей на народных инструментах, повышение их профессиональных навыков, исполнительской культуры, выявление новых талантливых музыкантов, а также популяризацию музыки для народных инструментов.   Видео 1: Дуэт «Маркотелло» в составе Marko Kassl (аккордеон) и Othello Liesmann (виолончель) исполняют сочинения Эрнеста Блоха «Prayer».Видео 2: композиция Тошио Хосокавы: Bird Fragments III в исполнении Marko Kassl (аккордеон) и Gudula Rosa (блокфлейта). 2 и 3 ноября Марко Кассл (на фото слева) исполнит пять премьер новых композиций для сольного аккордеона с ансамблем в Бергеркирхе Дюссельдорфе в рамках Дюссельдорфской новой музыкальной ассоциации Musik 21 на фестивале «Новые контрапункты». В сопровождении ART Ensemble NRW (фото вверху справа) под управлением Миро Добровольного он представит следующие композиции: Йоханнес К. | Аккордеонист Владимир Ушаков недавно получил предложение принять участие в съемках эпизода в телесериале «Байопик», снятого Первым каналом российской телекомпании. Предложение включало в себя создание музыки для эпизода, где встречаются главные герои, и съемку выступления музыкального ансамбля на сцене берлинского ресторана в 1930-х годах. Музыка должна была соответствовать стандартам той эпохи. За короткое время было создано несколько композиций для аранжировки. После репетиций съемка этого эпизода прошла в огромном павильоне (со специально выстроенными пейзажами) в Санкт-Петербурге 24 октября. В состав ансамбля вошли, изображённого выше, Шафаят Гаджиев (аккордеон), Владимир Ушаков (аккордеон), Лина Колесник (скрипка), Владимир Богомолов (гитара) и Дмитрий Головченко (контрабас). |

| The National Accordion Organisation of the United Kingdom (NAO) will hold their 2020 Annual Championships and Festival at the Adelphi Hotel in Liverpool from April 25th to 27th, 2020. Area Festivals will be held from November 6th, 2019 in North Central until March 8th, 2020 in North West where competitors may qualify to compete in the 2020 Championships.  One of New Zealand’s most popular tourist attractions in Rotorua channelled Northern Hemisphere spirit with an Oktoberfest themed afternoon, featuring entertainment from international accordionist Lionel Reekie (picture left).The “Hidden Forest “ Restaurant was decorated to capture the atmosphere of the Bavarian Alps, with this very unique venue situated amongst towering Redwood trees halfway down a scenic luge track. Part of the Skyline Skyrides complex overlooking Lake Rotorua, the luge track was a world first when it opened in 1986. Offering an open plan kitchen, chefs could be seen creating their amazing dishes of traditional European fare, including various sausages, sauerkraut, and meat dishes in front of guests. Rustic shared platters were served to tables for guests to share along with fine New Zealand craft beer, and of course a fine selection of sweet treats was on offer to finish off the meal. Lionel’s entertainment featured the obligatory Oktoberfest waltzes, polkas, folk music and even the famous “Birdie Dance”, but he was also able to mix up some of the other genres, taking requests whilst strolling amongst diners, including singing a few well known German and Italian favourites. Rotorua is around 3 hours drive south of Auckland (where Lionel is based). |

| The VI International Student Competition of Performers on folk instruments of CIS Universities was held from October 19th to 25th in Moscow at the Russian Academy of Music named after Gnesin. The competition was for accordion, folk vocals, domra and balalaika. The event began with an opening concert at the RAM Great Hall Gnesin. Accordion competitions were held on October 21st and 22nd with 2 rounds. The event finished with a grand results ceremony as follows: 1st Prize: Lun Jinhan Nurlanov Olzhas 2nd Prize: Volchkov Mikhail Ugorcin Denis 3rd Prize: Mykitenko Alexey Ermolaev Egor Aliev Arslan |

 The Kosmos Ensemble which includes accordionist Milos Milivojevic (picture left) will perform at the Balliol Musical Society concert held at the Balliol Hall, Balliol College (picture above) in Oxford on November 3rd at 8.30pm. On November 16th, the ensemble will perform for the Weston Music Society, Holy Trinity Church, Weston in Hertfordshire at 7.30pm. Michael describes his repertoire as ‘concert music’ – encompassing baroque, classical, and contemporary works, along with a vast array of his own concert arrangements of folk and jazz music. | For over ten years, the Akkordeon-Orchester Wesseling has been giving an afternoon concert for residents, employees and guests of the CBT Ein Unternehmen der Caritas Homes St. Lucia. This year’s concert will be held on November 10th.  The 12 Annual Accordion Noir Fest will be held at the Wise Hall mainstage (1882 Adanac at Victoria) in East Vancouver on November 15th and 16th.November 15th performers include “Wolfbrood” with Daniel Citynski on accordion and vocals, Zydeco dance band “Nuvo Zydeco” with Dan Kahila on accordion and backing vocals (picture left), Duo Vilda (Finland) and Sudanda. On November 16th, performances will be given by the Squeezebox Circle Orchestra and Accordion Noir theme song composer Andy Fielding at Spartacus Books (3378 Findlay Street) as well as a reading by squeezebox historian Bruce Triggs from his new history book "Accordion Revolution", a screening of assorted Saturday Morning Accordi-toons, accordion open mic spots for anyone who wants to play, and an accordion parade (weather permitting) around Trout Lake.   Duo Artina which includes Martina Jembrišak (accordion) and Andrea Jelavic (flute) announce an opportunity for composers of any age to have their works premiered in June 2020 in Gustav Adolf Church in Berlin, Germany. The winning compositions will be also recorded on CD. The objective of the contest is to promote the creation of pieces for accordion in chamber music. Guidelines for submissions: 1. The competition is open to composers of any age and nationality. 2. Composers may submit multiple works. The works must be written for flute/piccolo and accordion. 3. The submitted works should not have been premiered in any public performance or through any digital or mechanical means. Works that have been previously premiered will not be admitted. 4. Works of any aesthetic and stylistic direction, not longer than 6 minutes may be submitted. 5. Scores must be submitted in PDF format, together with the bio of the composer. 6. Performers will have the right to record, produce and distribute the performance of works which are going to be chosen. 7. Composers will receive a CD recording and will be invited to premiere in Berlin. The deadline for entries is December 31st, 2019.
