About The Central Texas Accordion Association

The Central Texas Accordion Association (CTAA) Austin, was started in 1992 by a group of accordion enthusiasts in order to promote the enjoyment and public awareness of the accordion and accordion music. Currently there are approximately 60 members.

Meeting Information

Meetings: Third Wednesday of each month, excluding June and December Location: Senior Activity Center, 2874 Shoal Crest (at Lamar and 29th St), Austin, Texas, in the South room. Time: 7:00 PM - Entertainment at meetings is provided by members or players from the area. Special Events: Every year in June, we present a "Free For All" variety program for the City of Austin, our family, our friends, and for all who enjoy the accordion.

Membership Information

Membership in the CTAA is $12.00 per year. Each member receives a monthly copy of our  Newsletter (via snailmail) and a copy of the member directory. Membership also entitles you to vote in our elections for Officers and for updates to the By-Laws, participate in the CTAA activities, and post your gig schedules and other pertinent advertising on our website. Our meetings offer the safe forum for those that are interested in accordion music, whether or not you play an instrument of any sort, or just want to hang out & enjoy life through music with others that do.  Attendance at regular meetings will introduce you to a wide variety of accordion styles and talent.
