A special event for those studying at the Hohner Conservatory in Trossingen was the arrival of Frédéric Deschamps and three of his students last week.
The Hohner Conservatory arranged master classes for all interested students including the Ensemble Art of Accordion, that won 1st prize at the World Music Festival in Innsbruck the previous week.
For the three students of Frederic Deschamps - Grayson Masefield (New Zealand), Cyril Blanchard and Julien "Speedy" Gonzales (France), all very successful artistes at international competitions, a special highlight was seeing the Hohner manufacturing works in Trossingen.
Here they could see, how the top model Hohner accordions are built. As thanks for the friendly visit, these three performers gave a spontaneous concert for the manufacturing workshop staff. Picture of Cyril and ‘Speedy’ performing to workers, and Grayson with Dr Braeuning performing.
The Hohner workers were inspired by the fine music and Dr. Braeuning, Manager of Musikinstrumente GmbH & Co. KG, thanked them cordially. Picture below, left to right: Dr. Braeuning, Speedy Gonzales, Grayson Masefield, Cyril Blanchard, Frédéric Deschamps.
