 ReportFrom 15 to 20 December 2020, Moscow hosted the annual International Festival "Bayan and Bayanists". Three world premieres in one concert! The current best and new names! Anniversaries of composers Alexander Zhurbin and Vladimir Bonakov ...Almost at the same time, from 13 to 20 December, the VII International Competition of Bayan and Accordionists started, which is held once every five years. The events of the festival and competition worthily ended 2020, which was dedicated to the 125th anniversary of the Gnesin system of music education. The always inextricably linked festival and competition, which have existed at the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music for more than three decades, are supported by the Ministry of Culture of the Russian Federation, the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, the Friedrich Lips Charitable Foundation, as well as the Moscow Government and the Moscow City Committee for Culture. The founder and Artistic Director of the festival is People's Artist of Russia, Professor Friedrich Robertovich Lips, its director Alexander Gataullin. |
 BerichtVom 15. bis 20. Dezember 2020 war Moskau Gastgeber des jährlichen internationalen Festivals „Bajan und Bajanisten“. Drei Weltpremieren in einem Konzert! Die aktuell besten Bajanisten und neue Namen! Jubiläen der Komponisten Alexander Schurbin und Wladimir Bonakow ...Fast zeitgleich vom 13. bis 20. Dezember der VII. Internationale Wettbewerb für Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten, der alle fünf Jahre stattfindet. Die Veranstaltungen des Festivals und des Wettbewerbs beschlossen würdig das Jahr 2020, das dem 125. Jahrestag des Gnesin-Systems der Musikausbildung gewidmet war. Festival und Wettbewerb, seit mehr als drei Jahrzehnten an der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesin stets untrennbar miteinander verbunden, werden vom Kulturministerium der Russischen Föderation, der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesin, dem Friedrich Lips Fond sowie der Moskauer Regierung und dem Moskauer Stadtkomitee für Kultur unterstützt. Der russische Volkskünstler Professor Friedrich Robertowitsch Lips ist der Gründer und künstlerische Leiter des Festivals, Alexander Gataullin sein Direktor. |

ReportXXXII International Festival "Bayan and Bayanists" opened on December 15 in the Concert Hall of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music. In the Concert Hall with more than 530 seats, 120 seats were available for spectators (for each festival concert), which made up 25% of the total number of seats.All concerts of the festival were held in compliance with the necessary security measures. For everyone who wanted to watch and listen to the concerts of the festival, an online broadcast was organized. In the first part of the Concert on December 15, the laureate of many prestigious bayan competitions, the winner of the VI International Competition of Bayanists and Accordionists in Moscow 2015 - Aydar Salakhov was performing works by P.I. Tchaikovsky, F. Liszt, P. Desmond, as well as his own compositions. In the second part, Iosif Purits and his klezmer quartet "Purits-Band" created the best atmosphere in the Gnesin concert hall. |
BerichtDas XXXII. Internationale Festival „Bayan und Bayanisten“ wurde am 15. Dezember im Konzertsaal der Russischen Gnesin-Musikakademie eröffnet, wo anstatt der normalerweise mehr als 530 Plätze dieses Mal Corona-bedingt nur 120 Plätze für die Zuschauer jedes Festivalkonzerts zur Verfügung standen, was etwa 25% der normalen Auslastung entspricht.Alle Konzerte des Festivals wurden unter Einhaltung der notwendigen Sicherheitsmaßnahmen abgehalten. Für alle, die die Konzerte des Festivals sehen und hören wollten, wurde eine Online-Übertragung eingerichtet. Im ersten Teil des Konzerts führte der Preisträger vieler renommierter Bajan-Wettbewerbe, der Gewinner des VI. Internationalen Wettbewerbs der Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten in Moskau 2015 - Aydar Salachow, Werke von P. Tschaikowski, F. Liszt, P. Desmond sowie eigene Kompositionen und Arrangements auf. Im zweiten Teil sorgte Iosif Purits mit seinem Klezmer-Quartett „Purits-Band“ für beste Stimmung im Gnesin-Konzertsaal. |

ReportOn December 16 (at 19:00) a Concert dedicated to the anniversary of the composer and teacher Vladimir Bonakov, who celebrateed his 80th anniversary this year, took place.Honored Artist of Russia Vladimir Mikhailovich Bonakov is a virtuoso bayanist and pianist, a talented improviser, the author of many works for bayan: symphonies, concerts, suites, sonatas, transcriptions of classical music. As a bayanist, he could be heard throughout Russia, in Germany and Austria, France and Switzerland. The concert featured works by V. Bonakov: Sonata "Portrait of Paganini", Two pieces from the cycle "Dance Pictures" and other works. A gift to the hero of the day was presented by his students: laureates of international competitions, bayanists Dmitry Khodanovich and Andrey Dmitrenko also performed music by G. Rossini, M. Glinka, M. Balakirev, P. Tchaikovsky, A. Glazunov and others. |
BerichtAm 16. Dezember fand ein Konzert zum Jubiläum des Komponisten und Lehrers Wladimir Bonakow statt, der dieses Jahr seinen 80. Geburtstag feierte.Der Verdiente Künstler Russlands Wladimir Michailowitsch Bonakow ist ein virtuoser Bajanist und Pianist, ein talentierter Improvisator, Autor vieler Werke für Bajan: Symphonien, Konzerte, Suiten, Sonaten, Transkriptionen klassischer Musik. Als Bajanist war er in ganz Russland, Deutschland und Österreich, Frankreich und in der Schweiz zu hören. Im Konzert erklangen Werke von W. Bonakow: Sonate „Portrait von Paganini“, zwei Stücke aus dem Zyklus „Tanzbilder“ und andere Werke. Seine beiden Schüler, Dmitri Chodanowitsch und Andrei Dmitrenko, Preisträger internationaler Bajan-Wettbewerbe, spielten zur Ehre ihres berühmten Lehrers Musik von G. Rossini, M. Glinka, M. Balakirew, P. Tschaikowski, A. Glasunow u.a. |

Report VII International Competition for Bayanists and AccordionistsIn order to make the art of bayan known and to give it new impetus, the department for bayan and accordion of the Russian Academy of Music in Gnesin has held an international competition every 5 years as part of the festival since 1990.The international competition for bayanists and accordionists is one of the most prestigious in the world. The complexity of the program of this competition attracts only the strongest young musicians of every generation. The competition is open to musicians who are at least 18 years old and not older than 32 years at the time of the competition. The winners of previous years include Aydar Gainullin, Yuri Medyanik, Maria Vlasova, Kirill Shtybin, Eldar Abduraimov, Aydar Salakhov (Russia), Iñaki Alberdi (Spain), Pawel Fenyuk (Ukraine) and Tian Jianan (China). The competition for bayanists and accordionists is similar in importance to the Tchaikovsky competition for violinists, cellists, singers and pianists. The program requirements of the competition cover all styles and trends, from baroque music by J.S.Bach to original compositions for bayan by contemporary authors. The VII International Competition for Bayanists and Accordionists this year was held online. In connection with the pandemic, the largest international accordion competitions were held in the same mode this year: "Premio Citta di Castelfidardo" accordion competition (Italy), "World Trophy - 2020" International Competition. In terms of its importance, the competition for bayanists and accordionists is akin to the Tchaikovsky Competition for violinists, cellists, vocalists and pianists. The program requirements of the competition cover all styles and trends from clavier music by J.S.Bach, baroque music - to original compositions for bayan and accordion by contemporary authors. The chairman of the jury was professor of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music, People's Artist of Russia Friedrich Lips. Among the jury members this year were outstanding accordion performers, teachers and professors of leading Russian and foreign music educational institutions: Klaudius Baran (Poland), Geir Draugsvoll (Denmark), Cao Xiaoqing (China), Volodymyr Murza (Ukraine), Damir Sultanov (Kazakhstan), Radomir Tomic (Serbia and Montenegro), Massimiliano Pitocco (Italy), Raimondas Sviackevicius (Lithuania), Nikolay Sevrukov (Belarus), Owen Murray (Great Britain), Oleg Sharov and Yuri Dranga (Russia). The conditions of this year's competition were significantly different than in previous years. By December 1, 2020, the participants sent their programs for the 1st and 2nd round to the competition management. 31 accordionists from Russia, Ukraine, Belarus, Kazakhstan, China, Denmark, Poland, Serbia, Lithuania and other countries have participated in the VII International Bayanist and Accordionist Competition. 15 of them reached the 2nd round, from which 7 finalists were determined. The Chinese company Haier has been cooperating with the festival for several years. In 2020, the Chinese company Zhejiang Dahua Technology Co., Ltd. was also a partner of the event. Internationaler Wettbewerb für Bajanisten und AkkordeonistenUm die Bajankunst bekannt zu machen und ihr neue Impulse zu geben, veranstaltete die Abteilung für Bajan und Akkordeon der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesin seit 1990 im Rahmen des Festivals alle 5 Jahre einen internationalen Wettbewerb.Der internationale Wettbewerb für Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten ist einer der angesehensten und prestigeträchtigsten der Welt. Die Komplexität des Programms dieses Wettbewerbs zieht nur die stärksten jungen Musiker jeder Generation an. Der Wettbewerb steht Musikern offen, die zum Zeitpunkt des Wettbewerbs mindestens 18 Jahre alt und nicht älter als 32 Jahre sind. Zu den Gewinnern vergangener Jahre zählen u.a. Aydar Gainullin, Juri Medjanik, Maria Wlasowa, Kirill Shtybin, Eldar Abduraimow, Aydar Salachow (Russland), Iñaki Alberdi (Spanien), Pawel Fenjuk (Ukraine) und Tian Jianan (China). Der Wettbewerb von Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten ähnelt in seiner Bedeutung dem Tschaikowski-Wettbewerb für Geiger, Cellisten, Sänger und Pianisten. Die Programmanforderungen des Wettbewerbs decken alle Stile und Trends ab, von Barockmusik von J.S.Bach bis hin zu Originalkompositionen für Bajan zeitgenössischer Autoren. Der VII. Internationale Wettbewerb für Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten fand dieses Jahr online statt. Im Zusammenhang mit der Pandemie wurden in diesem Jahr die größten internationalen Akkordeonwettbewerbe im gleichen Modus abgehalten: Akkordeonwettbewerb „Premio Citta di Castelfidardo“ (Italien), Internationaler Wettbewerb „World Trophy – 2020“. Vorsitzender der Jury war Friedrich Lips, Professor der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesin und Volkskünstler Russlands. Zu den Jurymitgliedern in diesem Jahr gehörten herausragende Akkordeonisten, Lehrer und Professoren führender russischer und ausländischer Musikausbildungseinrichtungen: Klaudius Baran (Polen), Geir Draugsvoll (Dänemark), Cao Xiaoqing (China), Volodymyr Mursa (Ukraine), Damir Sultanow (Kasachstan), Radomir Tomic (Serbien und Montenegro), Massimiliano Pitocco (Italien), Raimondas Sviackevicius (Litauen), Nikolai Sewrjukow (Weißrussland), Owen Murray (Großbritannien), Oleg Scharow und Juri Dranga (Russland). Die Bedingungen des diesjährigen Wettbewerbs waren deutlich anders als in früheren Jahren. Bis zum 1. Dezember 2020 schickten die Teilnehmer ihre Programme für die 1. und 2. Runde an die Direktion des Wettbewerbs. 31 Akkordeonisten aus Russland, der Ukraine, Weißrussland, Kasachstan, China, Dänemark, Polen, Serbien, Litauen und anderen Ländern haben am VII. Internationalen Wettbewerb der Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten teilgenommen. Davon erreichten 15 die 2. Runde, aus denen 7 Finalisten ermittelt wurden. Ergebnisse:1. Preis – Radu Ratoi (Moldawien)2. Preis – Wladimir Stupnikow (Russland), Alexei Mursa (Ukraine) 3. Preis – Nikita Ukrainski (Russland), Junhao Mao (China), Zhang Zhiyuan (China) Die Veranstaltungen des Festivals „Bajan und Bajanisten“ und des internationalen Wettbewerbs wurden von den weltweit führenden Fabriken für die Herstellung von Bajans und Akkordeons unterstützt, darunter: das russische Bajan Jupiter, Generaldirektor Sergei Barinow; „Tula Akkordeon“ sowie die bekannten ausländischen Marken PIGINI und SCANDALLI. Das chinesische Unternehmen Haier arbeitet seit mehreren Jahren mit dem Festival zusammen. Im Jahr 2020 beteiligte sich auch das chinesische Unternehmen Dahua Technology und überreichte den Preisträgern des VII. Internationalen Wettbewerbs der Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten wertvolle High-Tech-Preise und Geschenke. |

ReportOn December 17 (at 19:00) a unique event took place within the framework of the festival: outstanding bayanists of our time, belonging to different generations, presented to the audience three world premieres at once, which were performed in the first part of the concert:• Sonata for bayan "Dedication to Chagall" (2020) by Mikhail Bronner was performed by the laureate of international competitions Iosif Purits. • The sonata for bayan by Alexander Tchaikovsky (2019) was performed by the founder and main inspirer of the festival - People's Artist of Russia Friedrich Lips. • Concert for bayan and strings (version for bayan and piano, 2019) by Tatiana Sergeeva was performed by laureate of international competitions Semyon Shmelkov (bayan) and author - Honored Artist of the Russian Federation Tatyana Sergeeva (piano). In the second part, the honoring of the Honored Artist of the Russian Federation, composer Alexander Zhurbin, who turned 75 years old! Semyon Shmelkov performed the Concert Diptych, Arslan Aliev - Sonata No. 2 "Nostalgia or Sonata quasi una ...", Maria Vlasova - Suite in 3 parts, Joseph Purits - Toccata, Sergey Osokin - Sonata No. 3 "A Walk in Neskuchny Garden". Geburtstags geehrt: Semjon Schmelkow spielte sein „Konzertdiptychon“, Arslan Aliew die Sonate Nr. 2 „Nostalgie oder Sonate quasi una ...“, Maria Wlasowa die Suite in 3 Teilen, Joseph Purits die Toccata, Sergei Osokin die Sonate Nr. 3 „Ein Spaziergang im Neskuchni Garten“. Shenderyov, S. Rachmaninov, A. Byzov, A. Shalayev, N. Rizol. In the second part, E. Akhanov entertained the audience with his own compositions and arrangements, among others. via J. Brahms. |

ReportOn December 20 the Closing Ceremony of the XXXII International Festival "Bayan and Bayanists" and the VII International Competition of Bayanists and Accordionists in the Concert Hall of the Gnesin Russian Academy of Music took place.In the first part of the concert, winners of All-Russian and international competitions Nikita Ukrainsky and Alexander Stupnikov performed works by A. Kusyakov, P. Tchaikovsky, P. Makkonen and D. Kabalevsky. Then the ensemble of Sergey Osokin (accordion) and Dmitri Kuptsov (clarinet) performed with a program of gypsy jazz, musette and their own compositions. The festival traditionally ended with the awarding of the Russian Silver Disc to: Vladimir Bonakov, Tatyana Sergeyeva, Vladimir Fedotov, Oleg Gabonov (Russia), Klaudiusz Baran (Poland) and Sun Fen (China) for special achievements in bayan art in 2020. |
BerichtAm 20. Dezember fand in der Konzerthalle der Russischen Musikakademie Gnesin das Schlusskonzert des XXXII. Internationalen Festivals „Bajan und Bajanisten“ und des VII. Internationalen Wettbewerbs der Bajanisten und Akkordeonisten statt. |
