Festival audience

This year's festival was dedicated to Prof. Friedrich Lips, People's Artist of Russia. All concerts were performed either by himself or his graduates and the current class.

After the tragic death of Alexander Sevastian, who was to perform the opening concert with his Canadian "Quartetto Gelato", the jubilee professor Yuri Sidorov (60th birthday) performed instead N. Tschaikin's Concerto No. 1 in B minor for bayan and symphonic orchestra and G. Shenderyov's concert "Volga-Pictures".

Then S. Voitenko and S. Kotkow (Bajan-MIX) thrilled the audience with their program of world hits and their own compositions.
