The finalists of The Golden Accordion Award 2005 are:

The competition will be televised live on Finland’s National TV Channel TV2. The contestants will perform their pieces accompanied by a band to a capacity audience.

While the judges will work, each of the contestants will be invited to step forward and perform a well-known Finnish piece, once again with the backing orchestra and that will be a musical potpourri of Finnish pieces.
