 The Closing Ceremony
The weather continued its picture perfect run of six continuous days of brilliant sunshine, clear blue skies and warm temperatures for the closing ceremony of the 37th Sata-Häme Soi International Accordion Festival.

Approximately two hours after the conclusion of the festival, without warning, and one can truly say "out of the clear blue sky" a torrential downpour occurred along with thunder. After heavy rain for about 20 minutes, the miraculous sunny weather returned!

This years bottle of Magnum of Champagne was donated by Team New Zealand, in appreciation for the wonderful hospitality extended during to them in previous festivals.

A new addition to this part of the ceremony, was the presence of an International Jury who graded festival staff on the success of the festival.
