ready to judge for round 3 of the Premio category, selecting the Winner of the PIF 2018
1st Vladimir Stupnikov / Russia

To accompany the artists the Orchestra del Teatro Tosti di Ortona, directed by Paul Abdul, an international violinist. The orchestra has a reputation as being very open to new musical ideas and has an extensive repertoire ranging from Pachebel, Mozart, to Bernstein and Astor Piazzola with collaborations such as Jazz Festivals.

Cesare Chiachiaretta performing his composition "ORIA 1944", a world premiere
Cesare Chiacchiaretta, winner of the PIF1993. A refined artist with an very successful international concert career, Cesare Chiacchiaretta has for some years, dedicated to the composition of new tonal music. This work is inspired by an incredible story of the 2nd World War in which his grandfather was involved.

Vladimir Blagojevic, was the winner of PIF1998, is highly respected as one of the best performers of the Balkan area with over 70 world premieres to his credit. To Blagojevic the honor of playing for the first time with this orchestra for accordion and string performing "Towards the Great Rift" by Vladimir Trmčić.
Marco Gemelli: The soul fusion of S-Confini is entrusted to Marco Gemelli, a winner of international competitions, concertist and professor of excellence, awarded by PIF 2003 as best Italian of the classical accordion section.

His artistic career includes a number of first performances from composers who wrote specifically for him. This performance is a premiere of the accordion and string arrangement "La vita delle cose", composed by Renzo Ruggieri, the PIF 2018 Artistic Director.
