 The Trophée Mondiale is 60 years old.
60 years of cultural and musical experience!
60 years of discovering new repertoire, new teaching techniques, the evolution of our instrument through numerous delegations from all continents, most recently including New Zealand, the United States of America and China.
60 years of travel around the world with more than twenty countries visited, mainly with a high European base (16 times in Italy !!!), but now a very international base with the Trophée Mondial held in Samara (Russia) in 2007, then being hosted in Spokane (USA) in 2012, to be followed shortly by China!
60 years of discovery with 142 talented prestigious World Champions to date in all categories, whose names have been consistently marking the pages of history with our instrument, for example, the International Jazzman “Richard Galliano” (1966 and 1967), Japanese Coba “Kobayashi” (1980), French composer “Franck Angelis” (1981), American “Peter Soave” (1986), and the two French entertainers Domi Emorine (1997) and Jerome Richard (1997 and 1998) and this list is far from exhaustive.
60 years the Trophée Mondial and Accordion living in complete mutual symbiosis.
The first Free bass instrument was born in 1900 at Castelfidardo, the Trophée Mondial has lived for more than half of the life of the accordion for! And speaking of LIFE, we must pay tribute to two men who were the Trophée Mondial and made every effort to ensure that we can be together again this year around our favorite instrument, it is of course our late President Charles Demaële and Secretary General Bio Boccosi.

Trophée Mondial 2010
Our next meeting will therefore take place in Spain, in VIGO, organized by our national delegate Daniel Rodriguez from the 21st –26th September 2010
It will be the 8th occasion that our Trophée Mondial is hosted in Spain after Barcelona in 1952 and 1976, Valence in 1966, San Sébastian in 1972, Malaga in 1979, Cuenca in 1990, Ourense in 1999 and Saint Jacques de Compostelle in 2004.
Daniel Rodriguez is one of the pillars of our organization, and has had close collaboration with our organization for many years, which gives to him all the necessary experience to organize the contest with a qualitative high level, both with the reception of foreign delegations and also with the logistics of the event.
The Fundamental changes for the 60th hosting of the Trophée Mondial 2010, are as follows:
Category Junior Variety
This category will comprise henceforth of only one round instead of two as was in the case previously, with a program to be performed with at least 2 pieces of different style and character, not exceeding 12 minutes in performance.
New Category - Le Trophée National
2010 - The Trophy of Spain
A new Classical category has just been created to allow the integration of new delegations within our Confédération Mondiale de l’Accordéon. This new category comprises only one 20 minutes maximum duration round, having to comprise of an original work for accordion and a baroque work (additional information can be found under the heading “Rules”).
This category is for all classical accordionists of more than 18 years, whose level for a first participation, does not make it possible to reach the level of the category “Classical Senior” under the best results.
This category is a “springboard” and can also be used as intermediary step between the categories “Classical Junior” and “Classical Senior”, and should also contribute to the quality of the latter.

Le Trophée Mondial de l’Accordéon à 60 ans !
60 années d’expérience Culturelle et Musicale!
60 années de découverte de répertoire, de nouvelles techniques pédagogiques, d’évolution de facture instrumentale à travers de nombreuses délégations venues de tous les continents, avec plus récemment la Nouvelle Zélande, les Etats Unis d’Amérique et la Chine.

60 années de découverte de Talents Prestigieux avec 142 Champions du Monde à ce jour, toutes catégories confondues, dont les noms n’ont eu de cesse de marquer les pages de l’histoire de notre instrument avec par exemple, l’international Jazzman Richard Galliano (1966 et 1967), le Japonais Kobayashi (1980), le compositeur français Franck Angelis (1981), l’Américain Peter Soave (1986), et les deux artistes de variété Française Domi Emorine (1997) et Jérôme Richard (1997 et 1998), et cette liste est bien loin d’être exhaustive.
60 années que le Trophée Mondial et l’Accordéon vivent en totale symbiose mutualiste.
Le premier instrument chromatique naissant en 1900 à Castelfidardo, le Trophée Mondial peut se venter d’avoir partagé le quotidien de l’accordéon pendant plus de la moitié de sa vie ! Et en parlant de VIE, rendons hommage aux deux hommes qui ont donné la leur pour ce Trophée Mondial et qui ont tout mis en œuvre pour que nous puissions être réunis cette année encore autour de notre instrument de prédilection, il s’agit bien sûr de nos regrettés Président Charles Demaele et Secrétaire Général Bio Boccosi.

Le prochain Rendez-vous aura donc lieu en Espagne, à VIGO, organisé par notre délégué national Daniel Rodriguez du 21 au 26 septembre 2010.

Daniel Rodriguez fait parti des piliers de notre organisation, et sa proche collaboration avec notre organisation depuis maintenant de nombreuses années, lui confère toute l'expérience requise pour organiser un concours du plus haut niveau qualitatif tant sur le plan de l'accueil des délégations étrangères que sur celui de la logistique de l'événement.
Les Changements fondamentaux pour la 60ème édition du Trophée Mondial 2010, sont les suivants :
Catégorie Variété Junior
Cette catégorie ne comporte dorénavant qu’une seule épreuve au lieu de deux comme c’était le cas précédemment, avec un programme au libre choix de l’interprète comprenant au moins 2 pièces de style et caractère différents, ne devant pas dépasser 12 minutes
Nouvelle Catégorie - Le Trophée National
2010 – le Trophée d’Espagne
Une nouvelle catégorie classique vient d’être crée pour permettre l’intégration de nouvelles délégations au sein de notre Confédération Mondiale de l’Accordéon. Cette nouvelle catégorie comporte une seule épreuve d’une durée maximale de 20 minutes, devant comporter au minimum une pièce originale pour accordéon et une pièce baroque (info supplémentaires dans la rubrique « Règlement »).
Cette catégorie s’adresse à tous les accordéonistes classiques de plus de 18 ans, dont le niveau pour une première participation à ce niveau d’épreuve, ne permet pas d’accéder à la catégorie « Classique Senior » dans les meilleures conditions. Cette catégorie « tremplin » peut également servir d’intermédiaire entre les catégories « Classique Junior » et « Classique Senior », et devrait également contribuer à la valorisation de cette dernière.
