Daily Event Report - Saturday 7th October

On Saturday 7th October the CMA Competitions started with the 2nd round of the Senior Variety Class.

In the afternoon at 15:00 the 2nd round of the Junior Virtuoso class took place followed by the 2nd round Senior Class, where each competitor performed a free choice 20 minute programme that featured a piece from the baroque period.

Sala Gymnasium in Kragujevac

At the 20:30 Concert a tango group from Beograd performed a wonderful range of Tango music. The line up was: Aleksandar Nikolis (bandoneon), Ivana Nikolic (vocal and piano), Bogan Pejic (guitar), Jovan Bogosavljevic (violin), Stevan Kovacevic (double bass).

In the interval Frederic Deschamps (President of the Confédération Mondial de L'Accordéon) made the draw for the Senior Classical category, after which the Beltango group continued their program with much applause from the audience.
