The event was set up with lots of free time for people to socialise and make friends. We were invited to lunch to meet well known Chinese composer Lian Xinguo. |

The first session of the competitions was crowded with lots of video cameras and plenty of enthusiasm. |

Many of the groups were performing with different combinations of accordions, other instruments and voice. |
|

Jury sat at the front and after each section, one or more of the jury would address the audience with comments and advice to the competitors. This was done in a friendly manner with many times, a joke or encouraging comment included. |
