8th June Daily Report

The morning meeting is the start of the important promotion for 2015, which is the Children to Teenagers Development Theme which will continue for all of 2015. There was lots of ideas and discussion about how this 2015 Theme may be organised and its goals.
 
Crystal Wang Li Cong
Crystal Wang welcomed everyone. She spoke about the number of prizes for ensemble group as this was a category that deserves encouragement. Li Cong spoke and said that competition is not he most important thing. That the goal of this event is to gather people together, to build strategy and development for the future. Its not only hands involved but also minds.

There was a very big amount of cheering when Prof. Li Cong was invited to the stage to make the presentations. Here Li is joined by other professors who also enjoyed warm applause.
Shanghai School Concert

This concert was not part of the festival but was planned
because Renzo Ruggieri and Lorenzo Bosica were in Shanghai.

The orchestra came on stage and they were really well trained. They walked onto the stage in very neat lines, they had the music memorised and when they finished performing, they walked off the stage in a very well disciplined way. Good teaching.

Playing accordion was Lu Siyu. The very enthusiastic mother of Lu Siyu makes a video of her daughter.
