anneLanda as accordionist, presents the accordion in its wide conception; From the concert to the performances with the interaction of movement,sound and scenography. In her training, she graduated from the Conservatory of San Sebastian,Spain, with M. Bikondoa in 1990, and post-graduated with J.L. Manca in the Conservatory of Grenoble, France, (Medaille d´Or à l´unanimité) in 1993. She also studied accordion with M. Ellegaard and composition with B. Porena (Rome, 1995-97) as well as new contemporary and non-western techniques with R.Reina (Amsterdam, 1998-99). |
| She won the International Prize “Reina Sofia” (Madrid, 1989), the National Accordion Contest (Cuenca, 1989) and the Prize for Pedagogical Composition (Castelfidardo, 1995). Landa has collaborated with groups of chamber music, orchestras, film music companies and in theatres: with the National Dramatic Center, “La visita de la vieja dama” F.Durrenmatt (Maria Guerrero theatre in Madrid, March-June 2000; Barcelona, Tivoli theatre, July 2000). In 2001 anneLanda played with Vladimir Mendelssohn (viola) in the performance "Dag nacht, dag dag" (Holland). In 2002 she was the accordionist in "Songs of Freedom", presenting new works for accordion, three female voices, guitar and percussion. actually she collaborates with different ensembles, the argentinian quartet "Cuarteto Tango Querido", music for theater pieces, film music, ballet and Anne Landa brings the instrument to the classical period through her own transcriptions in order to show the possibilities of the actual concert accordion. |
 In 1994 she found ACCO LAND and since 1997 ACCO LAND
is a cultural association to promote the accordion, led by anneLanda;
ACCO LAND is the organizer of the annual “Accordion and Alexander
Technique Workshop of San Sebastian”.Several composers (Andriessen, Donatoni, Mannino, Porena, Crivelli, Tadini, Romitelli, Garau, Nicolau, Ruiz, Pagliarani, Sugiyama, Mencherini, Riphagen, Manca, Iges, and many others) have created new works for anneLanda, growing the contemporary accordion repertory. anneLanda has recorded for “Musica e Poesia” and “Esperia”, and she has performed in festivals and venues such as: Teatro dell´Opera (Rome), Conservatorio Superior del Liceu (Barcelona), festival Nuova Consonanza (Rome), Festival di Novurgia (Milan), Festival de Música y Danza (Granada), Gaudeamus Fondation (Amsterdam), Festival de Nueva Música (Bilbao), festival Nuovi Spazi Musicali (Rome), Contemporary Art Museum (Turin), Orff Zentrum (Munich), Teatre Rossini (Pesaro), Spanish Accademy (Rome), Swiss Accademy (Paris), Gartensaal der Schlosse (Wolfsburg), Palazzo delle esposizioni (Rome), Haendel House (Halle), RAI (Rome), Radio Vaticana, National Radio of Spain (RNE), RSI (Switzerland). anneLanda as teacher for the Alexander Technique, is a member of A.P.T.A.E.(Association of Alexander Technique Teachers of Spain) and S.T.A.T. (Society of Teachers of the Alexander Technique, London), trained in the Alexander Technique Centre of Amsterdam (Holland), with T. Marwick and P. Versteeg. (1997-01) anneLanda got her diploma from the S.T.A.T. She collaborated with the conservatory of San Sebastian (Spain), to find out, through the Alexander Technique, about the musicians and their problems in the stage, so that their playing could be improved resulting in a better sound quality. Workshops imparted by anneLanda: Public University of Pamplona, Music School of San Sebastián, Association of schools of the Basque Country, Music School of Majadahonda "Enrique Granados"(Madrid), Conservatory of San Sebastián,Conservatory of Bilbao, Spanish Brass Workshop, Ballet Biarritz, University of Alcalá de Henares..At the moment anneLanda is the Alexander Technique teacher of the Basque Country High Music School Musikene (www.musikene.net) |
