The competitions began with Noteable Soundz quintet. This excellent quintet performed Impact, a work written by group member Dan Robinson. Players left to right: Dan Robinson, Tamba Young, Brad Williams, Andrew McFall and Elle Archer.

They performed 1. Dance Trepak - Tchaikovsky, 2. La Scala di Seta - Rossini and 3. Radetsky March - Strauss to very popular acclaim.
