In Honour of
THE AUSTRALIAN CONCERT ENSEMBLE (ACE)

The Australian Accordion Concert Ensemble was founded in 1995 to promote the accordion and foster musical goodwill in Australia and overseas. ACE has performed throughout Australia including national accordion and folk festivals, concerts, clubs and has toured in Europe.

Featuring advanced players that have won national, Australasian and solo championships, the ensemble members are also independent performers in their own right. ACE plays a wide variety of music styles which showcase superbly the versatility of the accordion.

In recognition of all their music contribution to the advancement of the accordion in Australia, the AATA is honouring the ensemble and their musical director Cathy Day for their musical achievements with the AATA Merit Award.
